Chapter 21 Roman POV* The last couple of weeks had been fairly quiet. Other than the one rogue attack where no one got hurt, there hadn’t been any other signs of their presence. Arden was ready for everything to be done and over with, and so was I. Everything that could be planned and prepared was already in place. Eva returned to the pack and let me know that the witches who had transferred to Ash River Pack were more than ready and capable at handling the wards, which was a relief to me.
