IV: Magic * Akshara followed the river, drinking the water and eating the tasteless plants that grew along the riverbank for sustenance. She knew which ones were poisonous, and which were safe. That was one of the few benefits of her priestess education. She had been instructed that the water needed to be blessed and purified with prayers to Tars’keli before it was safe to drink, so even though she despised these prayers, Akshara performed them, nonetheless.
