Chapter 40 I paced the length of the corridor, turned, and paced back. I peeked into Granddad’s room in time to see the nurse remove the blood pressure cuff. “Lean forward, Mr. Martin, I want to listen to your lungs.” “Excuse me,” I whispered. “I’m just stepping out to the lobby.
