Luca:
While waiting for my target, I reflected on the previous night.
I really liked her, she was the sexiest, most fascinating creature I'd ever met, but when I got out of the shower, she was gone. Now I liked her a lot less, and I was going to find her once I was done here, and she'd wish she'd never met me. I made it clear that she would be mine; she willingly surrendered herself to me, and I never let go of what is mine.
As the door knob slowly turned, I looked up from my gun, knowing it was time.
"Hello, Arthur Marques," I said as soon as he walked in the door.
"What exactly are you doing in my room?" He inquired, his face pale.
Aubrey:
When I saw the messages, my heart beat quickly then they started calling me.
"Where are you, Aubrey?" If you are at the hotel, leave immediately!! Barry's men kidnapped us last night and tortured us. He threatened you with many things! And he promised we'd..." Before Amita could finish, the door to the room was forced open and pushed over.
Then Barry's hulking figure appeared in front of me, his face scrunched. His gaze was drawn to the bed.
"How come you're still here!" Are you a moron? Get out right now! And don't bother dressing in here!" He yelled at the woman, and she jerked off the bed as soon as she found her clothes. She appeared even more terrified than I did, apologizing as she walked past me.
"Slut!" He yelled, slapping me across the face, hitting my left eye.
My phone had fallen to the ground, and I was struggling to regain my footing. My friends called out for me on the phone, but they were unsuccessful. He stood above the phone and stumped it repeatedly until it was crushed. Then he approached me as I was holding onto the table for support.
He grabbed my hair and threw me on the bed. Then he tightened his grip on my neck, his veins visible in his hands.
I hit his hands several times, but he didn't bulge. He was hell-bent on killing me.
"Can you imagine how I felt when the video of my fiancee dancing seductively went viral?" "I was a laughingstock among my peers!" He yelled, gritting his teeth and using his other hand as well.
I was gasping for air and fighting hard not to pass out. I was afraid of what he would do to me if I passed out. I reached for the lamp on the nightstand and smashed it on his head, then kicked him in the crotch, causing him to fall over to the left.
My throat was burning, but I was able to raise myself. He took my hand in his, and I bit him hard before pushing myself out of bed.
I dashed out the door and ran barefoot through the corridor.
"Someone, please assist me!" I yelled, banging on the hotel doors, but no one answered.
My thoughts were jumbled, and knowing that my crazy fiance was right behind me added to my anxiety. I ran for a few minutes until I heard the door to our room open. Then I dashed to the elevator and desperately pressed the button.
He took heavy steps towards me, but the elevator door opened just in time, and I got in, repeatedly pressing the button. He was only a few inches away from entering when the door slammed shut, and I collapsed to the floor, sobbing and clutching my hurt neck.
I waited for the elevator to take me to the next floor, then dashed out to Luca's room. I heard Barry growl as I ran towards his room.
"Go find her!" Locate her! And deliver her to me!" He was probably summoning his men to me, and they would be there in no time.
I entered Luca's room by accident.
"Please assist me! "My husband is going..."
I was about to finish my sentence when I heard a loud bang and saw Authur staring down at a dead man holding a gun.
*************
I stood frozen in time as the men in black darted their heavy eyes around me. My mind blanked out the lifeless body that was only a few inches from my feet. The men c****d their firearms and pointed them at me.
"Lower your guns, boys!" Luca gave the order, and the men lowered their weapons.
He approached me with heavy steps, and I took a few steps back until my back brushed against the door.
"What exactly are you doing here?" "I thought you went away," he said, his face dangerously close to mine.
He ordered his men to drag the dead body away.
"You...you have to help me, there's a man out there who wants to kill me," I begged. I couldn't decide whether I was safer with Barry or Luca, who had just killed a man, but I had to take my chances.
The next sound that came was light knocks against the door, I knew it had to be Barry. He'd found me.
Luca grabbed my hand and pulled me away, then pulled his gun from his pocket and opened the door.
"Good day, have you seen my fiancee?" Brown hair, brown eyes, and..."
I kept shaking my head, hoping he'd say no, but he yanked me out and handed me over to my bloodthirsty husband.
"Please, please, please don't do this to me," I begged, tears streaming down my cheeks.
"I'm sorry she bothered you. She has a rare form of dementia and frequently forgets things. We're supposed to get married at the... chapel, and I have a lot to deal with, but I love her so much," Barry said, clutching my hand tightly while shaking hands with Luca.
I planned to act as if I hadn't had a one-night stand with a murderer. With me, it was just one problem after another!
Luca immediately shut the door, and Barry dragged me to the elevator and to our room, where he threw me to the ground.
I expected him to hit or kick me, but he just looked at me, fuming and gritting his teeth.
"I was going to call off the wedding, but I have a reputation to save," he said to me as he walked towards me, and I swallowed hard.
"However, you won't be here for long." "I'll get rid of you as soon as this is over," he said, crouching beside me and grabbing my chin firmly. He dug his fingers into my skin, exacerbating the pain.
"I mean, what could be better than the headline "New York's richest man marries, and his drunk wife falls off his penthouse on their wedding night"?"
"Say your final prayers, you scumbag!" Because tonight is your last," he explained....
