"I didn't think you would be back up here tonight." Zeke smiled, as Val walked into their bedroom.
Val smiled. "He is awake. So Emily kicked me out."
Zeke stood up. "He is? That's amazing."
Val walked over to the couch and sat down. "Amelia came in right after you left. Told us he would be ok, that the Moon Goddess has a plan for him, he would help you and I out in the future."
Zeke sat down. "Really?" He nodded his head. "Sometimes her premonitions are like riddles, aren't they?"
Val smiled. "She is pretty special."
Zeke scooted next to her. "Look I am sorry for earlier. I wasn't mad about what you said. I was mad about that man having his hands on you."
Val shook her head. "Do you think I liked it?"
"No. not at all. I know you were doing what you had to do
