I was escorted back to my cell, and a few minutes later, Elder Eris arrived sporting a big grin.
“Vida dear, you finally get what you wanted all along, to go home; we just need to gather all the items you have, plus those in the vaults,” she said smugly.
“I’ll be back for you in the next few days, and don’t worry about leaving your mates behind; there won’t be anyone left here for you to leave,” she continued and abruptly left.
What had she meant by that? Was she planning something against my mates again? I needed to check on them and let them know what had happened.
