We took turns scanning through the book and writing down any Dark Witches that we happened to come across. Surprisingly, there were not that many of them.
I had to head back to the cell before the whole book was inspected so that I didn’t miss the morning cell check. It took us two nights and a full day to complete the examination, and we found no Eris listed in the book.
I thought I had all the pieces to the puzzle, but now I am starting to feel like I have missed something again. Not finding the name Eris in the book meant one of two things.
One, she used to go by another name or alias, like perhaps she isn’t a Dark Witch after all. Two, she isn’t The Master, as I suspected, though I was almost certain I was correct about that part.
