Terms and Characters Adapted to the Story and Their Respective Functions:
DEITIES:
• Zeus: King of the gods and god of the sky and thunder. His attributes are: the lightning bolt, the eagle, the bull, and the oak.
• Hera: Queen of the gods and wife of Zeus. Goddess of marriage.
• Demeter: Goddess of agriculture and mother of Persephone.
• Hermes: Messenger god. Herald of the gods.
• Hephaestus: God of fire, blacksmiths, craftsmen, and sculptors. Son of Hera and Zeus. Rejected by the former due to his ugliness and lameness.
• Aphrodite: Goddess of beauty and love.
• Athena: Goddess of wisdom, war, and strategy.
• Poseidon: God of the seas and earthquakes. Brother of Hades and Zeus.
• Hades: God of the Underworld.
• Persephone: Goddess of spring and queen of the Underworld.
• Thanatos: Personification of peaceful death. His touch was gentle, like that of his twin brother Hypnos, sleep.
• Hestia: Goddess of architecture.
• Moirai: Also known as the "Fates," they controlled the metaphorical thread of each human's life from birth to death, and even beyond in Hades.
There were three:
• Clotho: spun the thread of life with a distaff and spindle. Originally invoked in the ninth month of gestation.
• Lachesis: measured with her rod the length of the thread of life.
• Atropos: was the one who cut the thread of life. She chose how each man died, cutting the thread with her "detestable shears" when the time came.

• Artemis: Goddess of hunting.
• Eros: God of s****l attraction, love, and s*x.
• Himeros: God of lust and s****l desire.

PLACES:
• Mount Olympus: home of the main gods of the Greek pantheon, presided over by Zeus. The Greeks believed that in it, the gods had built crystal mansions where they dwelled.
• Underworld: realm of the god Hades, located beneath the earth.
The realms that formed the Greek Underworld were:
• Fields of Enna: densely populated field of all kinds of flowers and plants (similar to the biblical Eden), where Persephone used to spend time with the nymphs and Artemis.
• Gaia: represents all the solid earth ruled by Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus.
SUBSTANCES AND FOODS:
• Ambrosia: Food of the gods that granted immortality to those who tasted it.
• Nectar: Wine or drink of the gods, served by Ganymede or Hebe.
• Mead: special elixir, made from the fermentation of a mixture of water and honey, reserved for consumption on special occasions or at certain events.
• Ichor: mineral present in the blood of the gods, making it lethal to any mortal who came into contact with it.
