CHAPTER 2 Awed

Ilang minuto bago ang simula ay dumating na si Lei sa venue ng casting call.  Sa loob ito ng isang function room ng isang mamahaling hotel sa Quezon City. But she was surprised when she found out that she would be competing with a hundred other applicants.  Lahat sila ay  magaganda  at puro seksi.

Nakakailang tuloy. But of course, she did her best to look her prettiest. Siyempre pa,  hindi siya nagpakabog. She wore  a red, sleeveless  chiffon dress with a  long slit that revealed her smooth, beautiful legs.  She was thankful that she had read from a blog on the internet that red color could make a woman more attractive than any other color. She was sure that this color really made her more charming and more appealing  today.

Nangawit na yata ang mga paa niya sa kakatayo at kakahintay na tawagin siya. Pero ika-90 ang numerong hawak niya. She was apprehensive, and was shaking in worry when she looked for a chair to sit.

 After two hours of waiting, finally her name was called.  She heaved a sigh before she went to the room where, accordingly,  the interview was being conducted.

Kinakabahan siya. Lahat kasi ng mga babaeng lumabas sa interview room na iyon ay laglag ang mga balikat. On the other hand, it made her hopeful. Ibig sabihin nun, wala pang nakukuha at may pag-asa pa siya.

She secretly summoned all the confidence and strength that she had before she turned the door knob. Binuksan niya ang pintuan at pumasok. Her eyes opened wide upon seeing the panel of interviewers.  They were four good-looking, young men seated behind a u-shaped conference table. Unang nakakuha sa attention niya ay ang kaguwapuhan ng mga ito. They were all gorgeous! Draped in expensive looking suits that exuded power and virility.

Lahat sila ay matamang  nakatingin sa kanya.   Embarrassment dwelt on her that she suddenly felt the urge to leave. But before she could do that, she heard a voice in a friendly tone.

“Please come in, Miss Alvez.”

Bahagya siyang nabuhayan ng loob dahil sa maamong tinig na iyon kung kaya ipinasya niyang pumasok na ng kuwarto.  All eyes of the interviewers were on her when she entered the room like a beauty queen.  She straightened her back, pushed her chest out, and walked with grace. The admiration on the faces of the  gorgeous men registered as they feasted their eyes on her, assessing her assets. She flaunted her long, beautiful legs, nineteen inches waistline, very wide hips and voluptuous breasts.

She tried to project an air of confidence like that of a smart, sophisticated woman, and still maintained her innocence and youthful glow. Idagdag pa ang kanyang napakaamong mukha na bahagya niyang nilagyan ng make-up. And to complete her package, she flashed a  sweet, seductive smile on her angelic face.

Lihim siyang nagdiwang sa nakikitang reaksiyon mula sa grupo ng mga kalalakihan.

May narinig siyang sumipol. "Nice ass!"

She instantly blushed. Tiningnan niya ang lalaking nagsabi niyon. He looked mestizo. She guessed that he might have a mix of a  Nordic blood. It was apparent in his looks.

May name tags na nakasulat sa harapan ng bawat lalaki. The one who complimented her ass had Leif written on his name tag. Kumindat pa ito sa kanya.

She blushed more. Hindi niya alam kung papaano mag-react. She just maintained the sweet smile that was plastered on her lips.

"Finally, we can all have a rest, guys. We've got a bombshell here. We can send the other remaining girls packing," wika iyon ng lalaki na Sandro naman ang pangalang nakasulat sa name tag. Kayumanggi ang kulay ng balat nito na bumagay naman sa pinoy na pinoy na facial features.

"Exactly, brother!" segunda naman ng isa pa. Bret naman ang nakasulat sa name tag nito. "Hello, Miss Alvez..." Kumindat pa sa kanya ang mestisuhing lalaki.

Her eyes darted to the man who was seated in the center of the u-shaped conference table. Kaagad na binasa niya ang pangalan na nakasulat sa name tag nito. It said Voltaire.

"I'm Voltaire Cervantes de Mondragon, and I'm the leader of the pack," pagpapakilala nito sa sarili. "And the other gentlemen here are my frat brothers."

Muli niyang pinasadahan ng tingin ang apat na  lalaking akala mo ay Greek gods sa kaguwapuhan. They all had distinct physical attractiveness unique from one another. Whew! Wala siyang itulak-kabigin sa mga ito.

"We will be your panel of interviewers," pagpapatuloy pa ni Voltaire. "We will ask you personal questions so that we can determine if you're really the girl that we're looking for."

Kahit nanginginig na yata ang mga tuhod niya, she didn't stop smiling. She even made her sweet smile even more saccharine sweet.

"Good afternoon, everyone," she politely greeted.

Voltaire scanned the resume and the questionnaire that she had answered a while ago on his desk.

"Oh, come on, man. A beauty like hers doesn't require a grilling interview anymore. She's what we're looking for. I'm sure Zach will water at the sight of her. Lalo na kapag mas sexy pa ang suot. Damn! She would be a total knockout!" Si Leif ang nagsalita. "Hi, beauty! Leif Andersen at your service," pagpapakilala nito sa kanya.

"And I  am Sandro Montreal," singit naman ng isang tila ayaw magpadaig sa mga kasama. Guwapo, matangkad at alon-alon ang buhok nito.  Nang bahagya siyang tumango ay  bumaling na ito kay Voltaire. "I'm tired already, Voltaire. Let's call this a day. We've wasted so much of our time interviewing the previous girls. We have the perfect candidate here."

Tumaba ang puso niya sa narinig na sinabi nang nagngangalang Sandro. Nabuhayan siya ng pag-asa. Please, Lord, let them pick her. They had to pick her!

“Congratulations, Miss Alvez,” si Voltaire ulit ang nagsalita. "As you see, my colleagues here are vouching for you. And I agree with them. You are the perfect girl that we're looking for. However, we still need to ask you some very important questions. I hope you won't get offended."

"Yes, sir. I understand." Bahagya siyang yumuko bilang pagbibigay-galang.

"See, men? She's the sweetest. Napakagalang pa," singit muli ni Bret.

"But she must be a tigress in bed, bud, and not a meek lamb," sambot naman ni Leif.

Namula na naman siya. Tigress in bed? She swallowed painfully.

Nahalata yata ni Voltaire ang naging reaksiyon niya. "Do you know what job are you applying for, Miss Alvez?" pormal na tanong nito sa kanya.

Muli niyang inalala ang nabasang job post. Wala naman yatang nakalagay na posisyon doon? All that she knew was that this was a casting call.

She shook her head.

She heard Sandro chuckled. "Patay tayo riyan."

Why did he say so?

Voltaire cleared his throat. "But let me ask you first the crucial question, Miss Alvez. How bad do you need the one million pesos?"

"As bad as my life, sir. I need it to save the life of a person who is very dear to me."

"Good! So you're willing to do everything for one million pesos, right?"

"Yes, sir," honest na sagot niya. Kahit mag-tumbling pa siya o tumawid sa tulay na cable ay gagawin niya maipagamot lamang ang kanyang mahal na ina.

"Good!"si Voltaire naman ang  lumapad ang ngiti.

Mukhang natuwa ang mga interviewers niya sa naging sagot niya. Naging excited yata ang mga ito.

"You'll get the one million pesos without a glitch, Miss Alvez. In fact, you'll get the half a million pesos before you walk out of this room today, as soon as you signed the contract. Walang problema sa bayad. As long as you will do your task the best as you can. You have to do really good, or else, we will get our money back."

Sandali yata siyang nalula. Magkakaroon na agad siya ng five hundred thousand nang ora-orada? Biglang pinagpawisan ang kanyang mga palad.

"Gagawin ko lahat nang ipapagawa ninyo, sir. Just tell me what to do,"desididong sagot niya.

Napatampal sa mesa si Bret. "Damn, Zach! That bastard is lucky!"

Zach? Sinong Zach? Muli niyang pinasadahan ng tingin ang mga name tags na nakapatong sa mesa. Wala siyang nabasang Zach.

"Alright, Miss Alvez, here's the deal..."

A sweat pricked in her underarms. Hindi na yata siya makahinga nang maayos sa sobrang suspense. What was she going to do?

"Your task is to baptize our good friend, Zach, the gift of carnal pleasures," pagpapatuloy ni Jake.

Kumunot ang kanyang noo. Hindi niya iyon nakuha kaagad.

"You will be a s*x goddess for a night to our friend. Your task is to make sure that you're going to tempt our friend and gratify him in bed. The fate of the remaining five hundred thousand pesos lies in his hands. Kapag naging masaya ang kaibigan namin sa naging serbisyo mo ay mapapasaiyo kaagad ang natitirang kalahating milyon. You'll get the full one million pesos right after your astounding performance."

Napanganga yata siya sa narinig. Mang-aakit siya ng isang lalaki? Ibebenta niya ang katawan?

"This is not just a simple task of going to bed with a man, Miss Alvez. You have to deliver a stellar performance. Meaning, you'll have to equip yourself with the right moves and knowledge on how to please a man. But first and foremost, you must be a virgin. Our friend is still a virgin, Miss Alvez, so it's just perfect that the one who would break his innocence is a virgin as well." Amusement flashed in his eyes for a moment. "We need a very adventurous and highly knowledgeable virgin, Miss Alvez. So are you still a virgin?"

Ang lakas na yata nang tahip ng dibdib niya. Namamaga na yata sa hiya ang kanyang mukha. Pero tinatagan niya ang loob.

"Yes, I'm still a virgin," matatag na sagot niya.

"Gusto naming makasigurado sa bagay na iyan, Miss Alvez, and we will demand a doctor's certification from you as a proof. Oh, we actually have an in-house doctor to make sure of that. He will check on you after we have finalized everything. Okay lang ba sa iyo, Miss Alvez?"

Muli siyang napalunok. "Yes, it's fine."

“Good! So do you know how to please a man in bed? How far is your knowledge when it comes to s*x? Do you know how to do BJ and the likes?”

Napatigalgal siya. Bigla ay para siyang binuhusan nang malamig na tubig.  What a fvcking question? BJ? Anong BJ?

Ano bang klaseng interview ito?  Virgin pa nga siya, eh, as in VIRGIN!  Anong malay niya sa s*x chuchu na iyan eh puro pag-aaral ang ginawa niya sa buong buhay niya. Ni hindi pa nga nahahawakan ng kahit na sinong Herodes kahit ang dulo ng kanyang mga daliri.

“Excuse me?” At last, she managed to say something.  But after that, she was blank again. She knew that she was blushing in front of these men who were obviously anxious of her answer.  But what would she say?  Malay ba niyang tungkol pala sa s*x experience ang interview na ito. Ramdam na ramdam niya ang pag-iinit ng kanyang mukha.

“It seems that she doesn’t know it,” nanunukso ang boses ni Sandro. His smile was annoying.  “We have a still innocent virgin here.”

“Patay tayo riyan. Paano natin siya tatanggapin kung mukhang taboo sa kanya ang kanyang magiging trabaho?” natatawang komento ni Leif.

“But she can always learn,” si Bret. “I’m sure that Miss Alvez is a fast learner, right hun?” baling nito sa kanya.

Wala sa sariling napatango na lamang siya.

“I’ll teach her how to if needed,” pilyong suggestion ni Sandro. “Besides, she can always practice, and do some research. We have the list of porn sites for her to check out. If she needed more than that, say a hands-on training, I’m always available.”

Namula na naman siya. Naeeskandalo siya!

“But don’t worry,“ agap ni Voltaire nang makitang natitigilan siya.  “One time lang naman ito.  It will be just a one night stand between you and our friend.  Just lure him to bed and you will have the one million pesos.”

She was still speechless, almost breathless!

“Are you changing your mind? Oh, no. Don’t change your mind. We believe that you are a perfect match to our friend, and your kind is his type.  And we are decided to give this challenge to you,” singit ni Leif.  “We just need a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ as your answer.”

                 "So are you up to the challenge, Miss Alvez?” seryosong tanong ni Voltaire sa kanya.

Grabe kung makakabog sa lakas ang dibdib niya pero kailangan niyang gawin ito. Alang-alang sa kanyang ina. Kahit ibenta pa niya ang kaluluwa niya sa demonyo magkapera lang, gagawin niya.

Buong tapang na sinalubong niya ang titig ni Voltaire. "Yes, I'm up to the challenge. Tinatanggap ko ang trabahong ito."

“Great! Let’s sign the contract, then.”

Halos magtatalon sa tuwa si Lei sa narinig.
