The Earth That Was

      Triad Industries were the number 1 leading multipurpose industry in all of America. For months, they worked on a science experiment, with the aim of making the human body ten times stronger than the norm & the system entirely immune to any form of disease. It's purpose was to make humans faster, smarter, sharper. 

      It set into America gradually & spread like a virus. And on the 25th of October, 2087, the people of America died in their masses and the ones who did not die, mutated into horrible, dangerous creatures. The ones who died instantly were the ones whose system was too weak to absorb such toxic chemicals while the ones who mutated were the ones who were not strong enough to absorb the toxic chemicals.

     Veronica Millers didn't know how to handle it when the world came crashing down before her and she seemed perfectly normal. Whatever was affecting the rest of the people around her was, for some reason, doing nothing to her. She later found out that two of her other schoolmates were also immune.

    Triad Industries was shocked to realize that there were people who were not affected by their catastrophic experiment, which could've only led to the conclusion that it did work on them & make them superhuman. And they wanted to know why.

     They had to know why they were immune.
