Dominic
Every second was excruciating.
Dominic wanted to race into the Side-by-Side building, find his daughters and Nova, carry them to safety, and let the rest of the park burn. If this was what it had come to, anyone attacking children to make a political statement, then he was done. Wintercrest deserved what they got.
But of course, that was only part of the truth.
The other part was that Dominic loved this park. Not all of it and not all the time, but he still believed good could come from Wintercrest. The part of him that believed that wasn’t ready to give up on his people quite yet.
So he endured every excruciating second, waiting for the police to go through their process. He knew if he followed along, it would increase the survival rate, and ultimately that was the goal.
