Just where could she be?
I only had one place left in mind: Lucas’s pack. But how do I even go about this without sounding like a fool?
What if she isn’t there?
Worse… what if she is there?
What do I even say? "Hi, I’m here to check if the woman I pushed away is hiding in your guest room?"
Still, not going would drive me insane.
So… off I went.
When I arrived at his pack, I could see the confusion on the Beta’s face, pure surprise. He wasn’t expecting me.
Then came Lucas.
