Maybe my tone of voice betrayed me and he heard the importance behind the words 'I'm the lemon' , because he's now looking at me confused, hopeful, and expectantly. Honestly, those are way too many ways for me to handle right now, but I'll give my best and try, and maybe, through some miracle, I won't f**k it up and we will both get unharmed from the storm that's inside of me.
