I was content, and I was happy.
Everything felt right, I was happier than I'd ever been as far as I can remember. I look at my two favourite people apart from my mum and dad, a huge grin plastered on my face as they check their bags for anything they might have left behind. I can't believe I get to call these two awesome people my best friends, and my boyfriend.
"Come on, let's take one last picture to remind us of our wonderful trip," Alexis says excitedly, taking out her phone from her pocket. She puts her sun glasses on and angles the camera so it can get all of us and we all pose, hearing the 'click'.
