Dom understood why Kiko had so few employees. Though business seemed to be fairly good for after a holiday, having four people around only meant there was a lot of down time. Not that Dom personally minded. He wasn’t getting paid and didn’t particularly care to work all that hard, and more than that: he could pester Chad. Kiko had assigned them to redecorate the store while he and Katie handled story time and the bulk of the customers.
