SUMMERS POV

A hour later as me and Sean are finishing our cuppas and Sean finishes eatting his toast, my dad comes down stairs with Skylar.

How was your night Sean says standing up to go take Skylar from my dad.

It's was good to be fair Skylar is a good little sleeper, I'm just getting old and not use to disturbed nights anymore my dad says passing Skylar over.

Yes I really appreciate it, is mum awake? I ask.

Yeah I'm just heading for the kitchen I hear my mum shout from the stairs.

Well that answers my question then I say.

You woke up to late little princess I wanted a decent cuddle before I had to leave for work, instead I get a quick cuddle Sean says to Skylar.

It's only a few hours then you can have more cuddles I chuckle at Sean.

Morning everyone what's for breakfast Simon says walking in.

I'm not hungry, but mum and dad have just got up so whatever you fancy cooking them unless you wait for me to finish seeing to Skylar first I say.

No, it's alright I can sort breakfast Simon says.

Yeah, sure what about you dad you want one as well? Simon says

That would be great son, make it a strong coffee, I need to wake up my dad says.

Simon laughs while walking off to the kitchen. While my dad turns the TV on to see some breakfast show on the TV, something that doesn't actually bother me the slightest but I know it's one of my dad's favourites since he retired.

It's not long before Simon returns with my parents drinks.

I'm making pancakes for breakfast you sure your not hungry Simon says.

Just a small one then, I don't know why but I feel abit peeky this morning I say.

Don't tell me your pregnant again already Simon says laughing.

No! That's definitely not the case, plus nothing like that has happened and nothing like that is happening for a long time my poor body isn't ready for to risk going through childbirth anytime soon I say.

With that Simon looks at me weird then dashes back to the kitchen.

But he soon returns with a glass of orange juice while taking away my cuppa.. What are you doing? I ask.

This is more healthier the healthier you eat the better you will feel he says then leaves the room.

Just like your mum she would talk to you and Simon as well when you were baby's, but it helped you both to talk clearer and earlier my dad says.

Yeah, you epically loved listening to my voice as you became more aware, it won't be long until Skylar is more aware of her surroundings also my mum says smiling.

Well, I like to have little conversation with Skylar but it still feels weird talking to her in front of others I say.

I use to feel the same but as time went on it just felt more natural as the time passed. It's definitely not a silly thing my mum says.

After finishing winding Skylar I quickly changed her nappy before leaving her on the floor on the play mat since she was still awake.

Good because yours have more fruits on as you clearly need more healthy stuff to keep you healthy Simon says smiling before walking off to the kitchen as I roll my eyes at him.

I'm about to eat a mountain of fruit before getting Skylar bathed and dressed for the day. However Skylar is still awake enjoying her play mat currently x

SEAN'S POV

The day dragged just like I expected, however me and Summer have messaged all day long. And she has been putting on kiss on the end of each text which has brighten my day even more. I spent the morning wrapping up all urgent paperwork that needed doing before the Christmas break. Then I worked through lunch while eating a sandwich and continued right through until 5pm so I didn't have much to come back to in the new year. I wished all staff I saw on the way out to my car a good Christmas and a happy new year. Everyone seemed in great spirits.

As I approached my car I could see Shan stood next to it.

What do you want I ask as I approach my car.

I just want to chat Shan says smiling at me.

Well I don't want to talk to you so I suggest you go and remember to leave my family alone I say opening my car door not wanting tp entertain her anymore.

In that case have a good Christmas Shan days laughing while walking off.

I don't know what she ment by that but I didn't like the sound of it.

I got into my car and decide to just forget about her as I didn't want my Christmas ruined by a spiteful person. Instead I wanted to enjoy Christmas with all my loved ones and enjoy me and Summer getting closer again. Plus my Christmas was already complete since Summer returned completing our family with Skylar I couldn't wish for a better Christmas present. I could wait to arrive at my parents house and get the festivities under way.

Once I arrived I quickly parked the car before heading into the house.

Yeah, and thank god its Christmas break I can enjoy spending time with everyone I said walking into the kitchen. I see Sandy was also in the kitchen helping my mum cook dinner. Which looks like chicken stir fry.

Yes and your father and Kenny decided to go play golf so Ryan and luke joined them, your sister is in her bedroom wrapping Christmas presents as she didn't feel like helping us cook my mum says

What's wrong with Summer? I ask.

She said she was feeling a little sick this morning but hasn't been sick Sandy says.

Okay, well I will go up and get Skylar that way when she wakes up she won't wake Summer up I say.

That's a good idea my mum says as I walk out the kitchen. I take the stairs two at a time wanting to make sure Summer is okay myself since she didn't tell me she was feeling ill. I wonder why that is, I'd of definitely left work earlier if she had said I think to myself as I walk into the bedroom. I see Summer is asleep but looking very red in the face with Skylar asleep in the mosebasket. I gently place my hand against Summers forehead and can tell she is running a high fever she feels like a radiator. I quickly pick the mosebasket up and take Skylar with me into Lisas bedroom. I don't even knock just walk straight in.

Lisa please watch Skylar a moment Summer isnt well I'm going to get the doctor out I say.

What's wrong with Summer? Lisa asks worried.

She has a fever I say before placing the mosebasket next to Lisa on bed.
