SUMMERS POV

Summer are you looking forward to Skylar first Christmas I hear Tom ask me as I finish off my breakfast.

Yes I can't wait even though she won't remember much I'm still very excited for it I reply.

I can't wait either my first grandchild Christmas and I'm going to spend the day with you both I'm so grateful to you Summer Tom says smiling at me.

I'm just as excited Karen quickly adds on.

So you need anything food or drink wise towards Christmas I can get it when I go to the supermarket in the next few days I ask.

Don't you dare I have it all covered, I've even brought formula and nappy and bath stuff for Skylar so you wot have to pack so much Karen suddenly says.

Oh you didn't need to do that but thankyou I appreciate it I say.

You really did that mum? Sean says.

Yes she did and made me carry it all in Ryan says laughing.

After I had a bath I dried my hair and put it up with a clip. Applied some like natural looking make up to hide the black circles under my eyes. Then I put on my blue skinny jeans with my white strappy vest followed by my cream woollen neck jumper. That will do I say to myself before heading towards Lisa's room.

I knock on Lisas bedroom door and wait for her to answer.

Who is it? She finally asks when I knock the door again.

I walk in and see Lisa sat at her dressing table in her pj's and dressing robe.

I'm debating weather to get dressed or not today Lisa says looking at me through the mirror.

I think you should because I want you to come stay at my house tonight, I think a different scenary will do you some good. Plus I want to make Christmas cookies tomorrow and your better at decorating them than I am so what do you say? I ask.

Yes just to my house you can come in my car and I will drive you home when your ready either tomorrow or you can get a lift home with Ryan and luke Monday if you want after we spend the day together it's up to you I say hoping I'm winning her around to the idea.

Well in that case then I think I should get dressed Lisa says smiling at me through the mirror.

Okay no hurry take all the time you need to get ready and pack your bag I'm in no hurry to leave yet I say smiling.

Okay I will see you once your ready I'm going to save Skylar from the arguements over who is looking after her I say laughing.

SEAN'S POV

As I head out the front room to go make myself a coffee I see Summer coming down stairs looking as beautiful as ever.

Hey would you like a drink? I ask

No, I'm good thanks. Oh by the way I've talked Lisa into staying at my house tonight, tomorrow we will bake Christmas cookies I think she could do with getting out of her bedroom Summer Says.

Oh, wow I can't believe you managed to get Lisa to agree to that! Your amazing I hope you know that I say.

I know so who won seeing to Skylar when she woke up? Summer asks.

Luke did I say and I chuckle thinking back to how he made us pull straws as a way of settling the arguement, 5 minutes after Summer went to get ready.

Yeah I can do that, I say while giving a cheeky wink before continuing to walking to the kitchen.

After I finished packing stuff from the kitchen and made my drink I headed back to the front room to see Summer cuddled up with Ryan on the sofa watching. Even though Ryan is my dear brother and is also in a relationship with luke I can't help but feel jealous. I know Ryan and Summer would never be romanticly involved but the closeness they share is what I miss, and right now Summer would rather cuddle up with Ryan and share her worrys with him over me I think to myself. I plaster on my smile as I sit in the chair and watch the TV. But just as I was getting into it, Lisa walked into the the front room declaring she was all ready, while we all just stared at her in shock.

Lisa had full on curled her hair half clipping it up so it was half up and half down at the back with a few lose strands of curly hair at the front. Then she had done her make up going for a natural look. But what shocked us the most was she opted for black high hells with black trousers and a white long sleeved shirt.

What's wrong do I look bad Lisa asks.

Um why have you gone for a business type look Summer asks Lisa, addressing what the rest of us are wondering, since Lisa never dresses formally.

Well um, yes it's yours mum and as for your question Summer, I felt like I needed a new look something that screamed confidence and demanded respect, I figured if I dressed how I want to feel it might help me feel like that Lisa says.

Well I think it suits you, keep my shirt it looks better on you anyway my mum says smiling.

Great idea and if you want to avoid crowds I can have a shop cleared in the mall for you or if need be the whole mall so you can kit yourself out again I say.

Oh, hello what happened to my baby girl? I'm sure this is a smart savy women stood in front of me now, when did my baby girl grow up so fast my dad says walking into the room.

I have some if you want to raid my clothes that are back at Seans apartment Summer says.

To stay at summers house she talked me into it not taking no for a answer Lisa says.

Lisa I thought the new look was ment to make you confident, so why do you look nervous I ask.

Because it's still daunting thinking about leaving the house, I didn't say I had confidence with the new look I just hope it gives me a little confidence she mumbles.

SUMMERS POV

Once the cars where loaded up, Karen insisted on carrying Skylar into the car. She then hugged Lisa as if her life depended on it.

Mum I'm Only going for one night Lisa complains.

I know, just remember if it's to much ring me Karen says letting Lisa go from her embrace.

And you don't be a stranger I want to see you more my dear girl Karen says bring me into a motherly hug.

Come on love let the girls get into the car already Tom say.

Oh, you know I will miss you also, but these girls have been through alot lately and your a big boy who can look after yourself Karen says to Sean making me laugh.

With that me and Lisa get into my car while Sean gets into his. Me and Lisa wave by as I start to drive off. Sean beeps his horn to his parents as he starts his car up to follow behind us.

Lisa put the radio on I feel like a good song is need I say.

Lisa turns the radio on and turns it up just a little bit as we both instantly start to sing along to ladbabys, Christmas saugages rolls appeal song even though it was nearly finished. That's how the whole drive back to mine went singing songs all the way.

Can we continue singing along to music when we get inside Lisa asks me as we pull into my drive way.

Sure, how about you pick the song just tell alexia what you want to listen to I say turning the car engine off.

Okay, do you want me to take Skylar in for you or take some of he bags Lisa asks me.

If you take Skylar on in I will help Sean with the luggage I say getting out of the car.

Lisa also gets out the car to get Skylar out.
