Chapter 46 A beautiful sight

SEAN'S POV

It's been a long evening, Summer and Skylar sang there hearts out to Christmas music while enjoying hot chocolates. Followed by 2 Christmas movies as well as bathing Skylar. I only ended up cooking us dinner which was pork chops, chips and a side salad. But I'm exhausted and Lisa and Summer have decided to watch enougher Christmas film while sharing a tub of Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

Summer im tired so I will take Skylar on up with me so you can enjoy the movie I say.

Okay but out the baby monitor on that way if Skylar wakes up I can come see to her since your tired Summer says while giving me a quick look before going back to watch the movie.

It's okay, I don't mind being woken up by Skylar plus I kept you awake last night it's the least i can do to let you enjoy the movie I say while picking Skylar up.

Don't remind me Lisa says sounding angry all over again.

Good night I hope you sleep well, if you need me come wake me up I say heading towards the door with Skylar in my arms.

With that I head up to bed feeling exhausted from the long day. I quickly settled Skylar into her cot in the next to me crib, knowing she shouldn't wake for a couple of hours yet at least, I then quickly showered and got ready for bed climbing in wearing just my pj bottoms, my eyes lids were heavy so I had no issue falling asleep.

I woke at 10:13pm to Skylar waking up. I saw Summer still hadn't come to bed so I assumed Summer and Lisa were still watching movies and got Skylar bottle prepared that was on the bedside table ready. I then picked picked Skylar up and started to feed her as summer walked into the bedroom with Lisa.

Oh bro can't you wear a pj top Lisa complained.

What are you both coming in for I ask watching Summer sit on the bed while Lisa just stands in the doorway.

We came to get Skylar as we heard her crying Summer says.

It's alright Im already seeing to Skylar I say trying not to yawn from feeling so tired still.

I'm that case I will leave you to it and head of to bed Lisa says.

Is the film finished I ask.

Yes it finished around 20 minutes ago Summer says.

Yeah we were just chatting before we heard Skylar crying Lisa says.

Okay well I will see you in the morning then I say to Lisa.

No need to thank me, you know I will always look out for Lisa she is like a sister to me Summer says standing up and walking to her closet.

I know, but she seems to listen to you more and trust you the most out of everyone I say while my eyes don't leave Summer.

Maybe it's because I was the first person to reach her when it happened Summer says with sadness in her voice from the memory of finding Lisa that horrid day.

SUMMERS POV

After I finished getting changed into a grey strippy strappy dressing gown that I loved to where when pregnant due to it being soft and comfortable, I washed my teeth and face. As I walk back into the bedroom I see Sean is winding Skylar.

Does Skylar need her nappy changing I ask.

No i just did it quickly before I started to wind Skylar Sean says while looking at me as if he wants to strip me from my clothes.

Okay I say grabbing my fluffly dressing robe and wrapping it around my body since I feel uneasy from his prying eyes.

Are you cold Sean asks.

No I'm alright I say.

Then why have you put that thick dressing robe on when your about yo get into bed Sean asks.

I don't know I say climbing into bed.

Your going to roast in that he says.

I will be fine I say leaning over to kiss Skylar on the head before laying down.

We didn't talk anymore while Sean winded Skylar. Once he was done Skylar seemed wide awake and not ready for sleep.

Sean laid Skylar between us and I rolled onto my side to watch Skylar looking around.

Sean layed on his side also but looked at us both.

We made one perfect baby Sean suddenly says.

I can't argue with that I say taking in how adorable Skylar looks. I then hold skylars hand around my finger.

I hope Skylar grows up just like you Sean says looking at me.

I quickly look away from Sean back to Skylar. Why is that I ask.

I didn't even know what to say back all I knew was I'm tired and not in the mood for a heart to heart type of conversation right now so I closed my eyes without falling asleep since Skylar was in the bed awake I was scared to sleep but wanted to avoid talking anymore with Sean. To my relief he didn't try speaking anymore and just stayed quiet.

Not long after I could feel Sean move Skylar into the next to me crib. Then I felt Sean cuddle up to me, I kept pretending to be asleep.

I know your awake Summer, but it's okay I understand you want don't want to talk but just know I love you both no matter what he says then places a quick kiss on my lips.

I'm just to tired to talk I say.

I know I'm sorry I kept you awake last night, but I promise to let you sleep tonight Sean says while stroking my hair with his fingers over and over again. It actually feels relaxing and carming I feel myself falling off to sleep. As I start to drift off I hear Sean whisper, I will wait a life time to regain your trust my love then he kisses my forehead.

I feel like responding that's the hardest part trusting you again, but I'm to tired to respond and instead fall asleep thinking that thought.

2:30pm I'm just putting Skylar back into the crib after her night feed. And I then quickly take this dressing robe off as it's to hot with it in to sleep.

Sean starts laughing.

What are you laughing at? I ask him confused.

I did warn you that you would get to hot he says as I climb back into bed.

Oh hush ya gums, I'm tired now go back to sleep I grumble.

Sean brings me into his arms places a kiss n my forehead, then he says now tell me why did you touture yourself like that for?

I just ignore him not wanting to talk and just sleep.

But Sean starts placing kisses all over my face, there landing all randomly and his head looks like a chicken pecking the ground.

What are you doing I say trying not to laugh.

Well I'm just going to keep kissing you until you tell me he says then continues to kiss my face.

I try to roll over but Sean holds me tightly as if predicting I'd try that stunt and continues his onslaught of kisses.

Alright I will tell you already I say laughing at his sillyness.

Sean stops kissing me randomly but quickly kisses my lips before saying okay I'm all ears.

Well it's simple you looked at me weird therefore I covered up I say half telling the truth.

No, I looked at you like your the hottest women on earth Sean says before kissing me again accept I end up kissing him back this time, and I end up running one of my hands through his hair while other hand roams his back as the kiss turns into a long passionate kiss.

When we break apart we are breathing hard as if we have never kissed before, I see that steamy hot passion look burning in Seans eyes as if he could never get enough.

SEAN'S POV

When we woke up next I didn't want to let Summer out of my arms, but I quickly separated us to pick up Skylar who was awake crying for her next feed.

Good morning princess I say picking her up.

I will sort the bottle Summer says groggily getting out of the bed.

Okay, then you can go back to sleep if you want, I can see to Skylar I say.

But before Summer can reply Lisa walks in.

Are you okay me and Summer both ask Lisa at the same time.

Yes, I've come to get my niece Lisa says.

I look at Summer who shakes her head yes at me as she finishes preparing the bottle.

Lisa walks over to me and I pass Skylar over.

Why are you awake so early I ask Lisa before she walks away.

Just woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep, then I heard Skylar wake up and was so happy others are awake I figured I'd come take Skylar so you both can wake up before the day begins Lisa Says.

Then Lisa quickly disappears put of the bedroom.

Okay, I'm going for a quick shower you should see that Lisa has some breakfast Summer says to me while walking to the wardrobe.

Don't you want to get a little more sleep I ask.

No, I'm awake now plus me and Lisa are going to have a day baking cookies, the sooner we start the sooner we can finish Summer says.

I hop out of bed and slowly walk up behind Summer who is choosing what to wear for the day. I wrap my arms around her waist and gently rest my head on her shoulder.

Sean stop messing around now, I need to finish getting my things ready so I can have a shower she says.

I go on down stairs and head for the kitchen. I suppose I better sort breakfast before I actually do upset Summer I think to myself. But I'm in a great mood after having a few moments with Summer during the night that nothing could ruin my day. I put the music on and start to sing along to the radio while I turn the kettle on and then go in search of what to make for breakfast.

Before I know it I've whipped up a bacon and egg muffin for Lisa. I quickly run it up the stairs to give it to her with a hot chocolate for a drink.

I see Summer walking out of the room Lisa is in as I reach the landing upstairs.

I thought you were going to have a shower I ask.

Yeah, I'm just going now but since your making such tasty breakfasts I will hurry she says giving me a cheeky wink before dashing away.

I can't help smiling at Summers cheekiness I haven't seen her that playful in a long time. I quickly go in and leave Lisas breakfast on the bedside table.

You want me to take Skylar so you can eat I ask.

No, I'm good, thanks for breakfast though Lisa says.

It's alright, I'm going to make mine and Summers then since your all good I say before heading back down stairs.

I continue to make our breakfasts and leave making our drinks until I'm done cooking the muffins that way they will stay hot longer while I continue to sing along with the radio.

Summer was true to her word she quickly hurried and was walking into the kitchen saying that smells amazing as I was finishing making the drinks.
