Chapter 39 getting closer again.

SEAN'S POV

"You might as well stay again, it's already late. And I'm not even going to argue about the spare room, no doubt you won't listen anyway" summer suddenly says.

"Aww thanks sweetheart, I will just get undressed then" I say starting to take my shirt off.

"Your not wearing pj's?" Summer asks.

"No it's to hot in this house, I will survive in my boxers, plus its nothing you ain't already seen." I say.

With that I remove my trousers before getting under the quilt and cuddling up to Summer. To my surprise she cuddles back up to me and says "night."

"Good night love" I say before kissing Summer on the top of her head.

A few minutes later summer suddenly sits up.

"Whats wrong?" I ask

"your right it's to hot in this house, yet I have it hot for Skylar so I'm just taking my tights and jumper dress off, I'm to tired to get out of bed for pj's though so keep your hands to yourself!" Summer says.

"Okay" I say say smiling. But to my disappointment Summer is still wearing a white strappy top that was underneath her jumper dress but still she is wearing much less now so I can't grumble to much. Summer lays back down but cuddles back up to me which makes me smile even more. I kiss her shoulder.

"Oi, I said keep your hands to yourself" she moans.

"I am that was my mouth." I say

"Ahh, see your annoying" she grumbles.

"I know but you love me for it, I'm sure of it" I say with up most confidence.

"Ahh, your impossible" she grumbles while getting more comfortable and laying her head on my arm.

"Hmm, I know" I say before kissing her forehead. Then I close my eyes and just enjoy being able to cuddle up with Summer. I'm not sure how long went by maybe 5 to 10 minutes but I feel Summer raise her head slightly and kiss me on the cheek before resting her head back down against my arm. I gently roll us over so I'm hoovering slightly above Summer careful not to crush her body. "What was that?" I ask smiling

"Ahh your awake, what are you doing?" Summer says.

"I'm asking what was that you just did?"

"I don't know what your talking about" Summer says acting all innocent as if she didn't just quickly kiss my cheek thinking I was asleep.

I kiss Summer full bang smack on the lips startling Summer, so I can slide my tongue in and kiss her with passion as if I'm not going to survive, if I don't kiss her like my life depends on it. I feel summer wind her arms around my neck with a hand running through my hair I gently bring us so we are both laying on our side while still kissing. As we run out of oxygen to breath I break away from the kiss.

"That's what you call a goodnigut kiss sweetheart" I say. Summer then hides her head into my neck while still cuddling me, I can't help but chuckle at her shyness.

I kiss her forehead while running my fingers gently up and down her back just how she likes it.

"We should get some sleep, before Skylar wakes up" summer suddenly says.

"I don't mind not sleeping if I get to kiss you all night long." I say while Summer just stays quite.

"Summer you say your give me a chance I see you want to but its like your scared to get close to me again why is that?" I ask.

"Well, I just had a baby your not allowed to, well you know for 6 weeks. plus even if I could I wouldn't want to after childbirth I'm not ready for that, also even though I said you can have a chance, I still feel like I should be careful incase you hurt me again" summer says suddenly starting to cry as if it's been bothering her.

Summer look at me sweetheart. She looks at me and I wipe the tears away with my thumb.

"I won't make you do anything your not ready for you take as long as you need, I won't rush you but don't test the waters trying to kiss me when you think I'm asleep. Show me you want to kiss me when I'm awake. And I know your worried I will hurt you again but I swear, I won't I've learnt my lesson just be you around me give me a second chance properly. I swear on my life I won't screw up ever again, I will only have eyes for you because I only love you. Do you hear? I love you and Skylar your both my world okay?" I say

" Okay" summer says going to cuddle in closer to me.

"Nah ah" I say, I pucker my lips and point with a finger to my lips. Summer starts laughing but pecks me on the lips with hers. "What's that? Hmm? Need me to show what a goodnight kiss is again?" I say

"I gave you a kiss what more do you want?" she says.

"This" I say before kissing her passionately just like before as we break away from the kiss Summer cuddles into me. "I love you Summer, I always have and I always will and I don't expect you to say it back until you feel ready to." I say

"Goodnight Sean" she says before yawning. It's not long until Summer is asleep and that's when I decide to go asleep knowing that Summer is peacefully asleep.

SUMMERS POV

I've just placed Skylar back into the crib for what feels like the 100th time since 1am she has woken up every 20-30 minutes crying. It's now 7:10am.

I go to lay back down in bed and Sean goes to get out of bed.

"Where are you going?" I ask

"I need to start getting ready for work" he says yawning.

I grab Seans arm. "You can't go, you can't leave me with Skylar like this. Please don't leave me with Skylar like this" I say while I start to cry at the same time even though I don't want to cry.

"Shh, it's okay" Sean says cuddling up to me and laying back down again.

"Stop crying we don't want to wake Skylar up do we" he adds. I do my best to stop crying but it takes a few moments and I can't help mentally cursing all the damn hormones with lack of sleep.

Once I've stopped crying I just lay there with my eyes closed pretending to sleep cuddled up to Sean. Then I feel Sean go to move again.

"Don't you dare leave me alone with Skylar, you said you wanted to be a dad you can't leave me when she is like this! I mean it." I say

"Okay, fine I will stay" Sean says and gives up trying to escape.

"You promise you wont leave me?" I ask

"I promise, I will stay right here with you until your ready to face the world again okay?" Sean says

"Okay" I say yawning.

The next thing I knew was Skylar waking up again it was daylight. I picked her up and automatically started singing twinkle twinkle little star while checking the time. It was 11:07am.

"I will get the bottle" Sean says rubbing his eyes while getting out of bed.

"Yeah, then I think we both need drinks ourself" I grumble also standing up to walk down stairs. I quickly put Skylar down to grab my thick cream fluffy dressing robe before picking Skylar up again and going down stairs. When I reach the bottom I tell Sean "we are going to the front room" which is excaulty what I did while grabbing a blanket to cover me and Skylar with. I put the TV on and opted for the music channel on low just as Sean walked in with Skylar bottle.

"I can't believe Skylar finally slept a few solid hours" Sean says.

"Yeah but I'm still tired." I say

"I know that feeling but I should get to work this afternoon" he says.

"Hmm, okay then once Skylar is asleep again I'm going to sleep also for a few more hours, so I won't be tired this afternoon." I say

With that Sean disappears again but comes back half hour later looking dapper in a black suit hid hair combed back holding 2 cups." Here your need a drink at the least like me" Sean says placing the cup on the table by my chair.

"Thanks, are you sure you won't fall asleep at work?" I ask

"No, I will be fine don't worry about me, I will be alright just focus on you and Skylar" he says as I'm changing Skylar nappy.

"Okay only if your sure" I say followed by a yawn.

"Is this your way of showing you care for me still?" He suddenly quizzes while looking at me with them love sick puppy dog eyes again.

"I'm just making sure you won't fall asleep while driving to and from work, can't have you being a danger to yourself or others can we? Skylar, what you reckon daddy should accept this explanation or not?" I say handing Skylar over to Sean. "Here continue winding little princess while I use the bathroom quickly." I say as Sean takes Skylar

"Okay, but I know you care really and love you to" Sean says smirking.

"Your as annoying as ever" I say dashing out the room to run for the bathroom, "I actually really do need to use the loo!" I shout down the stairs while running up them.

SEAN'S POV

I do. I say with the biggest grin while staring into summers beautiful face.

And do you Summer Ballard take Sean King to be your wed and lawful husband? I hear the vicar say, but I'm to busy admiring Summers beautiful face to look at him or anyone else in the church.

I do, I hear Summer say then I realise a breath I didn't even realise I was holding. Before the vicar even annoucings us as husband and wife I'm already kissing Summer while gently wrapping my arms around her strapless long white silk wedding gown.

SIR, SIR

"huh" I say as I sit up and groggily open my eyes. "What is it?" I ask seeing Josh stood in front of my desk in my office.

"Um, sorry but you fell asleep and its 8:20pm already, I figured you should go home and get some decent sleep" Josh says smiling.

"Hmm, thanks for waking me" I say as I then stretch my arms yawning.

"Will you be okay if I leave now or would you like a coffee?" Josh asks looking concerned.

"No, it's fine I'm going to head off as well, please go you did alot already today." I say

"Okay, I hope Skylar let's you get some sleep tonight, drive safe" Josh says walking out the office.

As much as I was enjoying that wonderful dream I'm glad Josh woke me up I should get back and see how Summer is doing with Skylar. With that thought I grab my phone and keys with my jacket and head off out the office.

I check my phone as I go down in the lift.

2 missed calls from my dad. 1 missed call from Dillian. And a message from Summer.

Wifey

Hey, just wanted to make sure your okay, you usually showed up or rang me by now. Message to let me know your okay.

I quickly type a reply out as I'm walking out the building.

To wifey

I'm okay, just leaving the office now. I fell asleep at my desk until Josh woke me up from the best dream ever. But I'm glad your worried about me means you love me. Don't worry I love you to forever and always. Xxx

I can imagine already she will tell me I'm just as annoying as ever, I chuckle to myself while getting into the car. I put the radio on loud to wake up and keep me awake before I even start driving. As I'm about to pull away PING

Wifey

Your just as annoying as ever. Glad your okay and didn't fall asleep while driving. Make sure you wake up before driving though.

I knew it and just laughed out loud to myself then started my journey to Summers house. I sang along to the radio songs the whole way there.

When I pulled up i noticed Simons car in the drive way. I wonder what he is doing here, summer didn't say anything about him coming down today. I thought to myself as I pulled up.

The security guards where laughing about something as I got out the car.

"How's it been?" I ask walking towards the front door.

"Yeah good" the shortest one with light brown hair and black rimmed glasses says.

"Summer said to just go on in if you showed up" the one tallest blonde haired guy called Joe said.

"Thanks" I said smiling walking on in. I could hear Summer and Simon laughing in the front room so I headed straight in there. Simon was feeding Skylar a bottle while summer was munching popcorn with a film grinch on the TV. "Hey I'm not inturrupting am I?" I ask.

"No, however there's some pizza in the kitchen or popcorn and crisps if your hungry" Simon says.

"We are having a movie night" Summer says.

"Okay thanks, how's your afternoon been? How's Skylar been? Did you mange to get anymore sleep?" I ask looking at summer.

"Yeah I managed a few more hours and Skylar has been fine, hopefully she will be alright tonight otherwise I'm sending her to uncle Simon" summer says laughing.

"Fine by me" simon says smiling.

"I'm glad you had a good afternoon. How come you came down this evening?" I suddenly ask Simon.

"I arranged it with Summer the other day, I wanted to spend some time with my sister and niece" Simon says.

"Ah, okay then." I say

"I forgot to say, but your still allowed to spend time with Skylar" summer says smiling.

"I will do that as soon as I've had a drink, do any of you want a drink?" I ask.

"I thought you would never ask, mines a coffee 2 sugars please" Simon says as he starts to winding Skylar.

"I'm all good, I've got a bottle of water on the go here" Summer says.

With that I went to the kitchen to make drinks. While making drinks I ate a slice of the pizza but I wasn't that hungry since I had a pasta meal around 3pm. Once the drinks was made I went and joined everyone in the front room and watched the grinch while I held Skylar as she fell back to sleep. Although she is still tiny you can tell she has grown and put on a little weight slightly not much just a little bit but I still hold her as if she is made of China. I can already tell she will have me wrapped around her little fingers just like her mummy does. I couldn't help smiling while thinking that thought.
