Episode 3

800 Words
Alice and Jack began to plan their wedding. Alice wanted a simple ceremony with just their closest friends and family, while Jack wanted a grand affair with all of his business associates in attendance. They argued about it for weeks, until finally, they came to a compromise. They decided to have a small ceremony in the morning with just their family and close friends, followed by a larger reception in the evening. Alice was happy that she could have her dream of a simple wedding, while Jack was able to invite all of his business contacts to the reception. As the wedding day approached, Alice and Jack were both nervous and excited. They had both been looking forward to this day for a long time, and they couldn't wait to start their new life together. On the day of the wedding, Alice was getting ready in her dressing room when her phone rang. It was her mother. Alice: "Hey Mom, what's up?" Alice's mother: "Alice, your father is in the hospital. He had a heart attack." Alice was stunned. She couldn't believe that this was happening on her wedding day. Alice: "I'll be there as soon as I can, Mom." Alice rushed to the hospital, leaving Jack and the rest of her family behind. She spent the entire day at the hospital, praying for her father's recovery. Meanwhile, Jack was left waiting at the altar, wondering where Alice was. He tried calling her, but she didn't answer. He began to worry that something had happened to her. As the day went on, Alice's father began to recover. Alice was relieved, but also heartbroken that she had missed her own wedding. When she finally arrived at the reception, she was met with a mix of emotions. She was happy to see Jack, but also sad that she had missed out on so much. Jack: "I'm just glad you're here, Alice. That's all that matters." They shared a dance together, surrounded by their friends and family. Alice knew that she had made the right choice in choosing Jack, and she was excited for their future together. After their honeymoon, Alice and Jack settled into their new life together. They bought a house in a quiet neighborhood, and started planning for their future. Alice was happy to be working at her own company, which was now thriving. Jack was also doing well in his business ventures, and they were both able to enjoy the fruits of their labor. One day, while they were sitting in their backyard, Jack turned to Alice. Jack: "Alice, I have something to tell you. I've been offered a job in Europe." Alice was stunned. She had never considered living in Europe, and she wasn't sure if she was ready for such a big change. Alice: "What about our life here? What about our house, our friends, our families?" Jack: "I know it's a big decision, but I think it could be an amazing opportunity for us. We could experience new cultures, meet new people, and start a new chapter in our lives." Alice thought about it for a moment, and then looked into Jack's eyes. Alice: "If we go, we go together. I'll support you in whatever you decide." Jack smiled, and they both knew that this was the right decision for them. Alice and Jack sold their house, said goodbye to their friends and families, and headed off to Europe. They settled into their new life, learning the language, exploring the city, and making new friends. Despite the challenges that came with living in a new country, Alice and Jack were happy. They had each other, and they were excited to be experiencing this new adventure together. One day, while they were out exploring the city, Jack turned to Alice. Jack: "Alice, I know we've been through a lot together. We've had our ups and downs, and we've faced some pretty big challenges. But through it all, you've been my rock. I don't know where I'd be without you." Alice smiled, knowing that their journey had brought them closer together than ever before. Jack: "I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Alice. Will you be my wife, again?" Alice was overjoyed. She had never been happier than she was in that moment. Alice: "Yes, Jack! I will marry you again." They shared a kiss, and Alice knew that she was right where she was meant to be. As they continued to explore the city, hand in hand, Alice knew that their love story was far from over. They had faced challenges and overcome them, and they had grown stronger together. She knew that no matter what the future held, she and Jack would face it together, as partners, as lovers, and as friends.
