Mia walked out of her bedroom, she looked down the corridor and there was no one around. Feeling light-headed, she leaned against the wall and closed her eyes, breathing in and out slowly. She opened her eyes and looked around, there was no one in sight which she found unusual. Usually, at this time Mrs. Ferra would be up and will be making sure that everything is in order before her parents come down for breakfast. She walked down the corridor, keeping a hand against the wall in case she felt the dizziness again. The worst part was that she couldn’t even shout out for help, she didn’t have the energy to do so. As she reached the sitting room, Mia glanced from left to right. The place looked deserted and Mia wondered if this was real or maybe she was dreaming.
