Awkwardness filled the room as everyone sat quietly around the large wooden 12 seater table for dinner. Luca sat opposite Mia, Marcos and Elena sat at the head of the table. Luca noticed there were four other places set at the table and he wondered who else would be joining them.
I thought they wanted to keep all of this a secret… Luca said to himself as he took a quick glance around the table.
The table was beautifully set with sparkling glasses, fine china, shining silver cutleries, and highly polished silver antique-looking candlesticks, sat at the center of the table on an embroidered off white table runner.
