CHAPTER SIX Rylie rushed across the Bottoms’ property, meeting up with the man as he stalked across the unmanicured lawn. He looked harried, almost angry, a stark difference from the photograph, where he’d been smiling lovingly down at his new wife. His hair had receded a lot more, leaving a full bald spot at the top, but he was still fit and handsome, dressed in a formal, tailored three-piece suit that made him stand out.
