It was the day of my wedding, I was messing with the ruffles in my dress when my hand was smacked by Charlene. I glared at her and she just kept hemming the dress to perfection.
"Stop messing with your mother's dress, you look perfect!" Charlene exclaimed.
"I'm sorry I guess I'm just nervous." I said.
"It's alright, I remember when I got married to Winston. He stole my heart and wanted to marry me right on the spot, but I said to wait for a while and he did just for me." She said, putting a hand over her heart.
"How come I never met him." I said.
"He died at sea, it was a terrible storm and no one on his ship survived." She said, looking solemn.
"Oh I'm sorry Charlene." I said, messing with one of my ringlets.
"Its alright, just one more stitch and viola." She said, tuning me to the mirror.
my reflection showed my face in a light makeup and curls forming around my face, the dress itself was modern age white dress with puffy sleeves and ruffles down the front. my veil had a simple floral pattern and I could barely recognize my self if it weren't for the faded scars from getting into trouble over the years. my amulet hung loosely and almost completely blended in with my dress. I messed with my engagement ring and calmed my breathing, Charlene came over and put the veil over my face. Charlene put her hands to her heart and started to cry, I hugged her a bit.
"If you cry then I cry and it is going to be such a mess." I said.
"Your right." She said and heard the organ play.
"We're up, you ready?" She asked, putting my bouquet of roses and lilies in my hand.
"Aye." I said gripping her arm with my other hand.
I walked behind the flower girl and when I entered everyone gasped and stood, I looked up and saw Osilus standing at the alter in a tuxedo and his sash on his arm. I smiled and my cheeks turned redder than what they were. I got up to the alter and handed my bouquet to Charlene. Osilus lifted my veil back and was shocked to see me, I smiled and held his hand in mine.
"Dearly beloved, we are here to witness the union of these two lives," Dominic, who I asked to do the ceremony, spoke, "If any person objects to this union, better have a good reason or I shoot them." He paused and listened, but no one objected. "Good, the couple has written their own vows and shall speak them now." Dominic gave us the floor and Osilus spoke.
"My beloved Silver Rose, if I had known then that I would see you again and marry you then I would have just held onto you tightly. I have seen you in your best moments, along with your worst, and I could not have wished for a more perfect person in my life than you." Osilus said, slipping the wedding band along with my engagement ring.
"Osilus, I think of my life up to this moment and it has been the best for me to experience. I thought you would have moved on and gotten married to another woman, but I was wrong and I am happy to have you there by my side not until death do we part, but for an eternity." I said, slipping his band on.
"By the power given to me, by my captain, I pronounce you husband and wife. Kiss her Osilus you fool." Dominic said.
Osilus dipped me down and kissed me, thus beginning our married life. The crowd cheered along with my ship mates. I danced with the children and my new father in law, Osilus' dad. Osilus and I took the dance floor and slowly danced as if time did not exist and no one else was there with us, Osilus held one of my hands to his heart and held my waist with the other.
"You should know your last name." He said, twirling me out and brining me back in.
"And my new last name is?" I questioned.
"Silver Rose Remsen." He said.
"Mrs. Remsen." I said.
"Mr. and Mrs." He said.
"I like that." I said, putting my head onto his chest.
We climbed aboard my ship and waved good by to our friends and family, before we did I threw the bouquet hard and saw Charlene catch it, I blew her a kiss good bye and turned to Osilus. We were both back in our garments since Osilus joined the crew, Osilus carried me over the threshold of my cabin and set me onto the bed. He locked the door and set our stuff on a near by chair, I went to the drawers to change and Osilus wrapped his arms around my waist. He lifted my shirt up and kissed my shoulder gently, I felt suddenly cold as a breeze hit my bare chest and shivered. Osilus drew me close and kissed my shoulder blades, dragging me to the bed. Osilus bit, kissed and sucked on my neck until he reached my chest, he looked at me and I nodded. I was in heaven when he touched me in the right ways and moaned his name. He tore off his shirt, again literally, and put his warm hands on my stomach. Osilus kissed along my scar and made me shudder when he used his teeth to get me out of my leggings, for about six hours we were in twined with each other. We broke apart at the six and a half hour mark, panting heavily into each other. My hair was messy, like his, and my lips were swollen. Osilus pulled the sheets up and kissed my sweat soaked body, I was no longer innocent and I am glad I gave that up to him.
"That was amazing." I said, turning over gingerly.
"I didn't hurt you too much did I?" He asked worriedly.
"No, it was amazing." I said, wiping the sweat from his forehead off.
"Good, because it was the same for me." He said.
It was seven days later when I found out I was pregnant. Osilus was gentle with me every night and kissed my stomach before bed, I was throwing up most of the time and other times I ate weird food. I was lying in bed a month later, with Osilus cuddling me, when I felt a small kick. I put my hand to my stomach and shook Osilus.
"Osilus, honey." I said watching him open his eyes.
"What's wrong, is it the baby?!" He said worriedly.
"No feel." I said, putting his hand to my stomach.
"It's kicking!" He said, spreading his hand.
"I think he or she likes you." I said, putting a hand on his.
"Have you thought of any names?" He said.
"I have, if it's a girl I will name her Cima Rachel Remsen and if it is a boy then I'll name him Olivier Sachse Remsen. If it is another girl she will be Akela Sweetwater Remsen and if it's another boy he will be named Roche Theodore Remsen." I said.
"I like them, they are unique and different." He said, kissing my lips.
I bit his lip playfully and he bit mine in response, he broke off and laid his head gently on my stomach. He kissed along the almost fully faded scar and laughed when our child kicked him, he placed his hand on my stomach and spread his hand to get a better angle to feel our baby.
