My leg bounces up and down, and there's nothing I can do to control it. Bryce reaches out under the table and places a hand on my leg.
I take a deep breath. I should have known he'd be able to soothe me. Despite the way our relationship started, he's become my rock, and I don't think I could be getting through any of this without him.
"Okay, all we need is a plan, and then we'll be able to get out of here," Ashryn announces, pacing up and down in front of us all.
Why isn't she more phased by this? I have no doubt her name is on Ravi's list too. It's probably at the top, right under mine. He hates her almost as much as he hates me. Our lives depend on how quickly we can act, and if we can get Ravi under control.
