Chapter Four
Miss Daniels, please report to Professor Ralph Meister's office at midnight.
The scrawled words which were shoved under my door while I was sleeping play on my mind. The next ten minutes are going to be t*****e, just like the rest of the night has been. I'm not sure what Professor Meister wants from me. I'm not in any of his classes, nor have I had anything to do with him before this. He may be the head of the vampires studying at the academy, but I'm reporting to people above him.
My leg bounces up and down as I wait to be called into his office. I wish Bryce had been able to come with me, but I know I can't take him everywhere, especially as he isn't enrolled in any classes at the moment. He's been talking about changing that recently, but I'm not sure if he will or not.
