A Long Waited Wolf

**Alice’s POV**

    Something is off about Samantha, she’s been staring at me like a lost hound, but there was something forming in her eyes, but I couldn’t tell what. “Babe… “Jason whispers down my neck and it gives me chills. I hum and open more space for him to trail his kisses down my neck. It only took a scoff from my father to realize we were at the dining table, eating with the pack. “Let’s try not to finish the process right here, shall we? “My father muttered as he ate into his eggs. I blushed and could feel Jason tense beside me. “Let them be in love James, they’re young and your daughter needs to grow up sometime. “I hear my mother say from across the table. My father pretends to gag. “No, Crystal it’s highly inappropriate. “He says tensely. “I remember a couple of young pups about their age who almost mated right on the table at midnight after their wedding ceremony.” An elder named Rose said, as she tapped her fork teasingly on the pancakes. “SHUT UP ROSE! “My father and mother said at the same time, blushing like tomatoes. I started to feel weird, like… physically sick. I’ve never felt this before, it was strange almost like my insides are moving around into different locations. “Alice…? “My father said, but there was a look in his eyes. Was that pride? Or a misconception of my brain. My mother had the same glint in her eyes, and the pack was starting to move away. “Jason…? “I said looking at him. “What’s wrong? “Jason said squeezing my shoulder. And then it happened, the most unbearable pain I have ever felt in my life… I screamed and cried while hearing my father telling the pack to remove me to the outside, where there’d be more space. Oh my god, is this it? Am I SHIFTING!? NOW?? I couldn’t breathe, it was so bad… Jason is soothing me while my father’s pride ripped to concern at his crumbled daughter on the grass, smudging her body in dirt. “F-Father! “I screamed, withering in pain. Jason shifted and put his big brown and white head on my hand as I gripped the earth, the pack watching their soon to be alpha silently. I began to feel less and less in pain and the eyes of the pack only grew wider and wider by each patch of fur that appeared. My mother gasped and punched my father as she looked at me, and my father was… shocked? Had something gone wrong? I started looking at my paws only to see they were, pure white? I moved my paws slightly and a tint of gray flashed as if translucent inside my fur. My pack was in awe, and… shocked. Well… will you look at that. My mate is… extraordinary. Jason said through mind link. I was so confused, I needed to know what I looked like. Giving a last look at the pack, I ran to the waterfall. I never ran so fast… I felt so free! When reached the water I dipped my huge paws into the water and picked them back out as the water was cold. But when I looked at them again, they were a white gray, like the translucent gray I had seen had taken over my paw. As normal, alpha’s are bigger than any other werewolf out there, and I am surprised I can handle walking on these big paws. But what I had seen in the water, only made more sense to my pack, and parents nature, along with the sly comment from Jason. I was pure white, with beyond pale blue eyes where they almost looked white. Every time I moved my giant head the little flash of gray followed it, but I was purely white. How could this be… white wolves died out a long, long time ago! That’s because we aren’t no ordinary wolf my darling. I heard someone say and instantly looked around. Who’s there? Show yourself!  I growled in full alpha mode. There’s no need for that now, I am merely inside your head. The voice sounded delicate, as if a shard of glass could break its soothing tone. Am I crazy, all of a sudden, I shift and now I am hearing voices? I am sorry I am late, but don’t panic. You’re not crazy. I am your wolf, Lunis. My wolf, oh my god I have my wolf! I jump around like crazy I am so happy! Finally, finally I can train with everyone else and no one can pity me no more! Hello! Hi, I’ve waited so long for you!! Where have you been?!  I couldn’t contain my excitement as I heard her giggle. It was like music to my ears, her soft and gentle giggle, I can’t believe she’s my wolf! Well, I have been taking so long because I didn’t know when it’d be the right time… As I have told you, we are not no ordinary wolf my dear, we are far more special. I am, special? But how, I am just a 17-year-old girl who was born an alpha, by the pack leaders, By the strongest alpha known to wolf packs mind I tell you. Because, as the legend goes. And you cannot tell ANYONE. When the Moon Goddess was on the earth, she was the first werewolf to be. And when she came of age, there I was. But the next day she was poisoned by her father… And there I died with her, before she could ever shift. I was stunned, I couldn’t think. I have the Moon Goddess’s WOLF. But how, and why?! I am so shocked I completely missed the fact Jason was running up to me, ready to tackle me to the ground. Do not tell our mate, Alice. I wanted to, I wanted to so much… I hate hiding things from him. Alice, there you are! You were like a rouge being chased by guards, are you alright? Don’t tell him, kept playing inside my mind. Hearing her melodic voice, it was hard. But I have to, for the sake of my wolf and me. Baby? Are you okay? The look in his eyes was too much for me. I walked up to him and licked him behind the ear, earning somewhat of a purr from him. I am fine, Jason. Stop worrying so much! I just wanted to take a better look at my wolf, that’s all. I pressed my forehead against his. I loved him so much, even if the mate bond makes it more than I already do. We should get back to the pack, they are waiting for you. I nodded and together we ran back to the pack house, side by side, in our wolf forms, how it should always have been… Once we got there, we shifted back with a pair of cloths waiting for us. Putting it on I couldn’t help noticing that Jason was watching me. I smirked and turned around, earning a growl. “You’re a tease. “He huffed before walking into the pack house. When I was finished, I changed and walked in shortly after him, when entering I was greeting with stares and then clapping. My father had pride in his eyes as he watched me walk in “Congrats on shifting today, Alice! “The pack had said in unison, and I couldn’t help but feel a smile appear on my face. Jason was squeezing my hand and his gaze seemed distant. “What’s wrong? “I whispered to him, but I had gotten no answer. I followed his gaze and it landed on Samantha. She was wearing a tank-top and really short shorts. I was fumed, but I didn’t let it show. “Something wrong, Jason? “I tried to say without cracking. He looked at me with hatred in his eyes, but not towards me. “Yeah, I am fine. “He says and picks me up bridal style. “Now, if you will excuse us, Alice here needs some rest. “Jason said loud enough for everyone to whisper then nod their heads. Jason was merely just my mate but being the mate to the Alpha’s daughter had already affected the pack and now have the respect towards him as if he were alpha already. Jason led us up the stairs and opened the door with his foot. “You want a shower? I can get it ready for you. “He said softly as he sat me down. “I want you. “I grabbed his arm slyly and pulled him over. “Nuh uh, like I said, not until your heat little missy. “Jason said sternly but playfully as he gathered some cloths for me and my shower. Well, it didn’t hurt to try right? I walked into the bathroom and removed my messy clothing that was waiting on the ground for me. I was surprised ants were littering it, but glad at the fact there wasn’t. When I went into the shower, I groaned at the warmth of the water. This was a well needed shower, and after today’s run, I needed one DESPERATLY. While I was taking a shower, Jason had already gotten dressed and was laying down half asleep reading a book. I walked out in the clothing he had picked out for me which consisted of a black tee and some grey sweatpants. I laid next to him and was instantly greeted with his arms wrapping around my waist and pulling me into his chest.  There he laid his book on the desk reaching over me and cuddled be close before sleep took over our eyes.

**Jason’s POV**

    I woke up later that night to a sound asleep Alice. She looked even more beautiful in her sleep… I couldn’t love her more. I heard my wolf purr in content of our sleeping mate, and I couldn’t help but smile. I had gotten up and walked down-stairs, the pack is still well asleep, and I only woke up early in the morning to surprise Alice with a bed-n-breakfast. When I made it down the stairs, I saw Samantha leaning over the counter, drinking water with three ice cubes in it. I was still furious with her sluttish cloths that she was wearing. I didn’t care what she wore, bare that in mind. But the fact I know that she was taunting me, was infuriating. “Mm, so what are you doing up? “She said smartly and putting her glass down. “I am up to make Alice some breakfast in bed. “I tried my best to make my voice sound stone cold, for I felt nothing for her. She looked like she flinched, and that’s what I wanted. “You’re rather cold for your handsome looks. “She purred and walked towards me. I started to growl at the fact she was descending someone who already has a mate in those slutty cloths. She pressed her hand down on my chest and moved downwards. “I would watch where you are touching, Samantha. “I growled grabbing her hand and tossing it off me. I started to move towards the kitchen when she grabbed me and slammed me into the wall. “You know you still want me, and you cannot deny that. “She said softly and nibbled down on my ear lobe. I groaned, not of pleasure but annoyance. Only one she-wolf can please me in this pack and that’s Alice. “As your soon to be alpha, I demand you to quit this foolish act. “I said trying to sound demanding, but since I am not the alpha, my order’s do not work on her… “Quit the cool guy act and just mate me like you were supposed to. “She said and starts removing my shirt. I growl and try to move away but she’s pushing her body weight on me. “Stop this Samantha, you’re no longer my mate, Alice is! “I try harder, but you can tell her weight training was paying off. “Quite now baby, you don’t want to wake her hmm. “She purred and started caressing my member. I growl louder, I was trying to suppress my arousal, I can’t do this to Alice. “You don’t want to do this… “I swallowed hard as she pressed her hips to mine. “I am your true mate. “Samantha growled dominantly, and I growled back. “See, you’re attracted to me. “She said pointing at my growing arousal. It was completely unfair, that’s a man’s weak spot, and it’s not fair that Alice was teasing me earlier. “I am not attracted to you; my body may respond but I will never love you like I love Alice! “I growled again. She started kissing my neck and that had done it for me, I lost control. I grabbed her picking her up and slamming her into the counter. She moaned and I lost it, I kissed her, and she kissed me back begging to deepen the kiss. I started feeling up her thighs and into her shorts, she was so warm… She started removing my belt and I couldn’t help but growl. She whimpered and removed my belt, and I took my time removing my shorts. What are you doing you i***t! Rider screamed in my head. I tried to stop, but I was compelled and frustrated. I ripped her shorts off of her and moved her hips onto my hard member, trusting slowly. She moaned in my mouth and I started kissing down her neck. Stop, right now! It was a different voice this time, and it caught me by surprise. Who are you? I had stopped kissing Samantha’s neck and concentrated on this new voice. I am Alice’s wolf; she’s going to wake up any minute now because you are causing her pain! What are you thinking allowing this slut to seduce you! It took me a minute to see what I was doing, unclothed and my arousal pushing up against Samantha’s underwear from my boxers. I growled and moved back. “You dare to seduce me!? “I roared at her and could hear a door open. I start putting my sweatpants on glaring at her and Samantha just smirks. Alice comes down the stairs and stares with pure hatred in her eyes. She saw me and then tears started to form. s**t, how do I explain the fact I am practically shirtless, my belt on the ground, and a practically naked Samantha sitting on the counter. “Alice, your “friend” seduced me, I couldn’t contain myself and thanks to your wolf I was snapped out of the trance. “I told her glaring at Samantha coldly. I could hear Alice growl, not a normal growl, but that of an Alpha… A true Alpha. “Samantha, how could you do this? I am your friend…! “She said and I can hear her hurt clear as day. “You took everything from me, he was my mate! How could you!! “She screeched and jumped off the counter. Alice advanced slowly and Samantha took a step back. “I never told him to reject you, and now I am glad he did! You SLUT! How could you seduce your soon to be alpha, my MATE! “She growled and pushed her into the counter, and I swore I heard something crack. Samantha was whimpering now, and the pack started coming downstairs feeling the shift of power in the atmosphere. “Alice, back away. “I heard the Alpha’s booming voice from the back of the crowd and Alice growled one more time and backed away. “What is the meaning of this so early in the morning. “He said flatly and stared at Samantha, then me. “Explain. “He growled and I flinched. “Samantha was downstairs before I had come down, I was going to make breakfast for Alice and bring it upstairs in the morning. Samantha had then proceeded to seduce me, and sir I believe you know how hard it is to compel that kind of spell. “I said worried that I may have said it all wrong. “I agree, there’s an extent to where we are unable to control our natural instinct to mate. I am aware Samantha may have known that and took advantage of it. “He said coldly and glared down at a whimpering Samantha. “I am ashamed of you; I don’t know what to say. Here I was feeling bad for you but now I am astounded by your course of actions. “He said and looked at Alice. “It’s your call, think of this as a test into becoming a full-fledged alpha. Exile, or Punishment. “He said softly at Alice, who was too busy staring daggers at her old friend. “Exile. Gone. For good. “She said slowly then turned her back and went upstairs. “You heard her, take her out of here and dump her into the end of the boarder lines. She is a rouge now, spot her on our territory you are to murder her, kill her on the spot. Is that understood? “He boomed at everyone in his Alpha voice and everyone nodded. “Wait! Jason please, don’t let them kick me out! “Samantha cried as she was beginning to be picked up. “I will never love you, don’t DARE say my name every again, none the less expect me to help a pest like you. “I said coldly and followed up the stairs to Alice. I wanted to wait for her heat, to make it special. But it’s starting to become impossible to wait… I walked into the room and saw Alice sitting there, crying. “Baby, what’s wrong… “I said as I sat next to her. “I… I thought you were cheating on me. I woke up in pain from a betrayal and I’m… I am so happy that you weren’t. You were being seduced by someone I thought I trusted. “Alice said sobbing into my shoulder. I pulled her into my lap, and she cuddled close to me. “As long as I am alive, I will never betray you or allow anyone to touch you, ever. “I swore to her rubbing down her back. Her cries began to soften, and she was sound asleep by the next minute that ticked on the clock. Don’t worry Alice… It won’t be long now. We will finish the mating process, and NO one will be able to harm you. We will lead this pack as great as your father had, and we will be the strongest pack in the whole nation.
