I found myself thinking 'No, no, no' but then I blurted out 'yes.' Why is it so difficult to say no? It's just a word, right?
An hour ago, Danreb Figuerres called me. Susunduin daw niya ako sa restaurant at 7 pm. Hindi ko na inalam kung paano niya nakuha ang number ko. Because that blood-sucker will always find a way to get whatever he wants. I felt trapped for quite sometime by my excessive urge to be agreeable.
It got me thinking why I should do this if it's against my will? To the point that I would feel resentful and stressed because of it. It's a heavy burden to carry because with the urge of saying "yes" to him comes my lack of self confidence and my lack of self value.
