" My nephew is my late sister's only child " Monique said sobbing " She would not have wanted this for him. I failed as an Auntie , I did not even care about his feelings, I only forced him to work at such a young age without caring for his feelings "

" You did what you could , don't beat yourself too much Monique " he said and she shook his head

" I have a son, I'm just 30 and even though I don't have a man, I would feel extremely bad if something happened to my son or him. To think that that young boy bore pains in his heart and I did nothing but fuel his aggressions is heartbreaking "

Damon pulled her close for a hug and she just cried quietly in his arms .

" It's okay " he shushed her " you're doing great "

FLASHBACK:

Damon had just finished seeing a friend when he saw that someone was hit on the head . He thought it was a gangster fight since it was rampant in Greater london for a while. He only noticed it was Robert when he had a closer look

Unlike most of his friends tat ran away, Mason stood with fury in his eyes unmoving until Damon got close. Since he saw he could not compete with Damon, he ran off . Damon looked at the boy on the ground, he was unconscious. Out of fear, he called for emergency and handled him carefully until they got to the hospital.

Robert's phone was ringing non- stop, it was his aunt that had been calling for a while. Reluctantly, he picked the call only to hear her asking multiple questions

"Where are you? I told you to be back early. I called your boss, he said you left hours ago. What's up with you Robert? You've been doing this too often. " She pause when she did not get any answer from the other end. " Hello, Robert?"
