I walked into Principal Atticus’ office and Wesley was sitting in the chair in front of the desk talking to him. I rolled my eyes closing the door. What did you do? I seethed through my clenched teeth. Me? I didn’t do anything. This is all your fault. He flinched as he realized what he did, I picked him up by his neck What did I tell you earlier about speaking back to me. ALARIELLE PUT HIM DOWN! My father walked in using his alpha voice. I dropped him and he was coughing, holding his throat. He knelt down and bowed in front of my father. 

Alpha Alyx, he bowed his head showing his neck in submission. I let out a laugh and my father glared at me. Sit down Alarielle, Wesley you can rise, and please take a seat. My father walked behind the desk as the principal stood and gave up his chair. My father sat down and folded his hands on the desk as he looked at Wesley and then at me. 

Would someone care to explain what I just walked in on. He bore his eyes into me.  I folded my arms and sat back smirking not saying a word. Sorry sir it was my fault, and won’t happen again. I looked at Wesley as he spoke, and shook my head. I cannot believe this kid, weak kiss ass goody two shoes. I don’t care I just want to get this over with so I can go. 

Why are we here?  I asked looking at my father. He smiled Well looking at your past grades from the previous years, Principal Atticus and I have decided you need a tutor. That is where Mr. Carter comes in. 

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! I stood up shouting. Alarielle you will sit down and listen to my terms, my father sat there calm and collected and it was pissing me off.  You will be 18 in a few weeks meaning you may find your mate, therefore taking over the pack. 

And what if I don’t find my mate? I sat down and put my feet up on the desk.  If you agree to my terms and don’t miss any class for the next week and continue tutoring for the next month then I will allow you to take over the pack without a mate. Mr. Carter you will be paid for your time, as a compensation for dealing with my daughter. My father looked at me and stood up. 

Wesley’s P.O.V 

I stared at Alpha Alyx dumb founded. As he stood up, I followed and stuck my hand out to shake his. Did he really expect me Wesley Carter to tutor Alarielle the queen?  Like did he not just walk in on her having me in a choke hold off the floor, and if I’m being honest with myself, she scares me.  

Alarielle and I walked out of the principal's office to let Alpha Alyx and Principal Atticus talk.  So umm when do you want to start? I looked at my watch and there was only 5 mins left of school.  Well let's get this straight, this whole arrangement is f***ing stupid. But I deserve to run this pack so I will deal with you for a month. We will do this tutoring thing on my terms and my terms only. When I want and where I want, do you understand me.? She got in my face and all I could do was nod as she turned around and walked away. 

The bell rang and I was left there speechless, or maybe it was scared s***less.  What happened? Why did you both have to be seen? Clark came running up to me with Harley & Kent following.  I started walking to the door to head to my car, I have to tutor her. They all stopped as we reached my car and stared at me. So should we be planning your birthday or your funeral this weekend? Kent laughed throwing his backpack in the trunk. 

I shook my head not really wanting to think about my birthday. It’s a day I've been dreading for as long as I can remember. Who is going to want a 5’4” skinny weak wolf? I got into the driver seat and headed out of the parking lot as I got a text. Do you want to check that for me? I asked Harley who was in the passanger seat looking for music. He opened up my texts and looked at me, What?  I said stopping at a red light looking at him.  He turned the phone towards me to show me the message. 

Unknown: Packhouse @ 7, meet me in the den. 

It could only be from one person. I shook my head and drove towards my house so we could do homework and could finish before having to meet Queen A tonight. 

Wednesday 7pm Packhouse

I turned around and uncovered my eyes, I looked at my watch You texted me told me to be here at 7. She looked at me, Well I didn’t think you would be here at 7.  She kissed Lincoln good bye and sent him on his way. As he walked by, he snicked and leaned in good luck. 

Alarielle’s P.O.V 

Tutoring went on until 10pm when Wesley finally looked at me and asked permission to leave.  I was more than ready to kick him out so I let him go. I went upstairs to my room turned my music on and went into the bathroom to take a shower. I let the hot water run over my long hair and down my back.
