You look good already, so i don't know why you're still stuck there This time Kylie turned and looked directly at Ava, eyebrows raised “I'm almost done. Let me just touch up my makeup”Ava replied, carefully applying gloses Ava was twenty -two -vibrant , confident,and gifted in every way. She stood at five feet tall with dark curly hair, full lips,and almond shaped eyes that gave her an effortlessly captivating look. Kylie on the other hand, had striking blond hair,heart-shaped lips and warm brown eyes that sparked with curiosity As the two girls walked through the hallway of the grand event center,the air shifted Something felt different. They could feel the weight of people's eyes trailing them,like invisible spotlight Whispers stirred the air “The one with the dark curls looks magical”someone murmured “They look like they just descended from heaven”said another “Damn,look at their figures. Their bodies are soo tea”,a guy whispered too loudly People started to murmur and stare as they passed . Kylie rolled her eyes. “Girl,why won't they stop staring? It's making me uncomfortable”, She said, pulling a face to show just how bothers she was Ava didn't respond . She was too distracted by the beauty of the venue. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling like glowing waterfalls,more luxurious than anything she'd ever seen in her life. The room buzzed with laughter,music and whispers Every table overflowed with food,and the smell made Ava's stomach grumble “Mmmh” Her hum of hunger was interrupted by a gentle slap on the arm from Kylie “Hey” “What?” “Look over there”Kylie said , nodding towards a corner Ava followed her glance and froze. He was walking through the crowd like a prince in a dream . Tall. Confident. Dangerous in the most beautiful way “Isn't he hot?” Kylie whispered Ava didn't answer “Ava? Ava?! How can a man be soo…beautiful Fred was six feet tall,with a sharp jawline, a straight Grecian nose,and a messy wolf-cut that somehow made him look even more rugged. His hazel almond -shaped eyes a quiet intensity that made Ava feel seen - and exposed. “Hi”,Ava finally said,realizing she'd been caught staring Kylie, sensing a vibe,smirked. “Hm…excuse me. Just as he was about to say something else, the music stopped. “I guess that's it” he said with a half-smile . “See you around” “Sure”,Ava replied quietly. Kylie appeared behind her, cleaning her throat in a not-so-subtle fake cough. “So …what's up with the new guy?” Kylie teased. “Kylie,stop. You know I have a boyfriend”, Ava replied “He's your boyfriend, not your husband”, Kylie rolled her eyes. “God forbid a girl wants to have fun” Ava shot her a look , clearly not amused. “Anyway, why would anyone date a guy these days who's emotionally unstable?” Kylie muttered. “I just feel like there's something fishy about him “Kylie.
