Drake was back on the bridge in plenty of time for their arrival at the jump point. Once again a group of pirate ships flew past them and went through the jump gate. It was just nine ships this time, leaving twelve ships behind them.
Checking the reports he saw a few minutes into the journey one of the ships following them had disappeared, before returning later with another two ships. It seemed one had gone back to get the two which hadn’t gone through the previous jump point.
Sonia had returned to the bridge just after Drake and had been studying the same information.
“So we do the same as before?” she asked.
“Yes, though I doubt it will work quite as well,” he replied.
