CHAPTER EIGHTEEN The next day Trudy was up at the c***k of dawn. Which meant they all were. She knocked on the bedroom door, then the window, then sent Megan in to get them out of bed. “What time is it?” Justin raised his head off the pillow and addressed Megan in a sleepy voice. “Get up!” she hollered and pulled the blanket off him. He had a pee, splashed his face with cold water, brushed his teeth, pulled on some shorts and a t-shirt and went to roll a joint. “There’s no time for that,” Trudy decreed. “Huh?” She didn’t answer. Instead, she said, “Philip, let’s go.” He appeared, and before Justin was even fully awake, he was following them downstairs. Trudy hurried them along in double-quick time through the almost empty streets. Justin couldn’t focus, he’d not had a coffee yet
