Crimson Bound: Love Beyond Blood

That night, the moon hung perfectly in the sky. A thin mist cloaked the black forest that divided two worlds — the world of humans living in routine, and the world of night creatures hiding centuries of secrets. At the eastern edge of a small town called Evelhollow, lived a young woman named Natasha Elward. A final-year literature student, she lived with her grandmother in an old house passed down through generations. Natasha had never truly felt like she belonged in the world around her. She preferred night over day, rain over sunshine, and dark fairy tales over ordinary love stories. Far beyond, deep within the woods, hidden from human eyes, stood an ancient castle. There lived Gabriel Van Croix — the last vampire of a noble bloodline that once ruled the dark world with elegance and fear. Gabriel had lived for over 300 years. He was handsome, calm, and appeared no older than a man in his twenties. Yet behind his beauty and composure, he carried a hollow emptiness that could not be filled by blood or immortality. Gabriel (monologue): “Humans… they run through time so fast, yet love with all their hearts. I… have never known what that feels like.” Natasha was a curious soul. She often read books about creatures of the night, vampires, and forgotten legends. Sometimes she would sketch the faces from her dreams — one of them being a mysterious, dark-eyed man. She had no idea that this face… truly existed. Natasha (inner thought): “Why does that dream feel so real? Who is he? Those eyes… it’s like they’ve looked into mine before.” Night after night, they lived in their own separate worlds. Unknowingly, the sky had already written a fate that would bring them together. While Natasha restlessly searched for answers to her haunting dreams, Gabriel grew increasingly unsettled — a strong instinct told him that someone in the human world had awakened something inside him long thought numb. On the final night of the full moon, when the sky was at its brightest and the world at its quietest… an invisible thread began pulling them toward each other.
