My gaze returns to Amy. In her drunken state, she has no self-control. The tears are gushing, her makeup ruined. As for Jasmine, her need for drama has eclipsed whatever compassion exists in her heart. She has some misplaced need to hold center stage over the Billy tragedy and appears to have no regard for Amy’s feelings whatsoever.
