Chapter 19

Ashton's POV

I woke up between Justin and carson and Jamie was asleep almost of to of me but I just smiled. She was perfect in so many way even just being a pet. 

"Good morning" Carson says

"Morning" I say looking down at Jamie

"She is adorable" Carson says

"Did I do the right thing in letting her get pregnant?" I whisper

"Yes you did. You gave her something no one else would ever give her" He tells me

"What about Cal?" I ask

"You aren't going back there. You and Kyle can stay here" He tells me

"I can't keep sleeping with you and Justin. I'm gonna need my own space and so is she when she has her little one" I tell him

"Then let's start house hunting" He tells me

"Can we afford it?" I ask 

"Of course my love. Come on you can help me choose" Carson tells me

I nod and slide next to him and he lays the laptop on his lap and we get to looking. We narrowed it down to two houses i liked most and sighed. 

"I really like the second. Think we could go look at it?" I ask

"Let me make the call and find out" He tells me

After making the call we all got dressed and headed over to look at the house. After touring the whole thing I was in love with it so Carson put in the bid and we would hear back in two weeks. 

"We should get to packing." I say

Carson nods and goes out to get some boxes. I tended to Jamie and once she was settled I started folding all the clothes and laying them out so they could just be out into boxes. After packing up the house and moving over to the other one it was like a weight lifted off all of us. we had all settled down for the night watching a movie and eating dinner when someone knocked on the door. Carson walked over to answer it and two officers stepped in. I could hear them talking and Carson looked at me. I closed my eyes sighing and stood up and walked over to them. 

"Are you Louis?" One officer asks

"Yes I am" I say

"Well someone called saying you were kidnapped" He tells me

"Let me guess his name is Calum Hood? I wasn't kidnapped. This people saved me from a auction house. I was dating Calum but I left because he hit me and we just moved today as you can tell." I tell them

"Hit you how?" The other officer asks

"He smacked me across the face. A friend of mine was there when it happened. He saw the whole thing go down." I say

"and what about the girl?" One asks

"Callum did buy her but her paper are in my name. She was a gift." I say

I walk over pulling out a folder and walk over showing them. They look it over and nod and hand it back. 

"Well we needed to check everything and now that we know your safe would you like to press charges for him hitting you?" One man asks

I look at Carson and he sighs and wraps his arm around me. 

"It's up to you baby. But I think you should" He tells me

I look a the officers and nod and they take my statement and help me with the paper work and they shake my hand and leave.  Caron locks the door and comes over wrapping his arms around me. I sighed and leaned against him and closed my eyes. I didn't know what to think or feel. I can't believe Calum would do something like that. 

"What are you thinking?" Justin asks me

"I'm scared and confused and angry" I tell him

"And you have every right to be. I don't know why he would pull something like that" Kyle says 

"We can always go on a vacation. I think it would be good for you to get away for a while"  Justin says

"Maybe. What would we do with her being pregnant?" I ask

"We bring her with." Carson says

"Yeah ok sounds good to me." I say

We all got packed and flew out to Bora Bora for a week. We found a vet to look in on Jamie just encase something happened while we were here. I tired to enjoy my time here but something felt off. I decided to let Jamie tag along today let her have some fun. 

"Is our beach pet friendly?" I ask Carson

"It is. I made sure since we were bringing her. But she needs to keep her collar on and only needs the leash while we are walking. Once we are on the beach it can come off" He tells me

"Alright sounds good. Jamie wanna put on your suit?" I ask her

"Can I bring a t shirt?" She asks softly

"Of course." I tell her

SHe nods and gets ready and when she comes back i rub her down in sun tan lotion so she doesn't burn. I clip on her leash and we head to the beach. When we get there I take off her leash as we set up our umbrella and chairs. Justin sits the cooler down and then places Rachelle down. 

"Jamie come here and let me rub you down again" I tell her

She scampers over to me and I rub her down and I take a seat. 

"Da" Jamie starts and then stops bowing her head

"it's ok. YOu can call me daddy. Just because we are in public doesn't change anything. now what did you want?" I ask

"Can I have something to drink?" She asks softly

"Of course. Ask Justin he's in there already" I say

She stands and walks over to him and asks just as soft as she did me and he chuckles and hands her a bottle water and she thanks him and comes back over to sit down by me. She struggles to open her water and then looks up at me and I chuckle and take it from her opening it and handing it back to her. 

"Thank you" She whispers

"Jamie you don't have to be shy. Just be you. You know the rules so it's ok" I tell her

She nods and stands and walks down to the water dipping her feet in. I rub Rachelle down in sun tan lotion when i hear Jamie scream. I jump up and run down to find two guys pushing on her.

"What the f**k do you think your doing to my pet?" I roar

They jump back in fear and she runs to me. 

"We um" One starts 

"Don't f*****g start with excuses. It's against the law to put your hands on someones pet without permission. What gave you the right to put your hands on my pregnant pet without permission?" I roar

"Sir what is the problem?" A officer asks

"My pet was down her dipping her feet in the water in my view and my permission when  these two assholes started shoving on my pregnant pet." I snarl 

"WOuld you like to press charges?" He asks

"Yes I would. No one is going to treat her badly and get away with it" I snap

I glare at the two guys and the were scared. I filed a report and carried a shaking Jamie back up to Carson and Justin. She scrambled into Carson's waiting arms still shaking. 

"It's ok kitten. Calm down. Your ok" He tells her

It took a few minutes but she calmed down and a woman walked up to us. 

"I'm sorry to interrupt but I saw what happened. JUst wanted to make sure she was ok" She says softly

"Thank you. She's fine. I'm Ashton and she is Jamie" I say

"I'm Melanie or Mel. Um I brought her a ice cream hoping it would help her feel better. I bought my pet one and seen what happened and grabbed another" She says offering it to me

"Jamie" I say

"Yes sir?" She says

"What do you say?" I ask

"Thank you Miss" She says softly

"Your most welcome honey." She tells Jamie

Jamie stood up and walked up to the woman and looked up at her. 

"Can i?" Jamie asks

Mel opens her arms and Jamie hugs her tight. 

"WOuld you like to me my pet?" She asks Jamie while looking at me

"Can i?" Jamie asks looking at me

"Of course." I say

"I'll bring her back in a few. We are right over there under the bright orange umbrella" She says

I nod and they walk away and about twenty minutes later Jamie comes running back over talking about she made a friend. I just sat there smiling listening to her chatter on about her new friend. Come to find out the family lives about thirty minutes from us back home. Jamie asked if they could do a play date one day so of course I agreed. It felt good to see her so excited about something since all this s**t has happened lately. We finished up the rest of our beach day and I exchanged numbers with Melanie and then we headed back to the hotel room. Once the girls were bathed I jumped in the shower myself. We all crawled in bed for the night and that was the end of a great first day here.
