CHAPTER SEVENTEEN Less than half an hour later, I found myself hiking down a barely visible trail in the Accord State Park. I rarely went hiking, mostly because I didn’t care much for it. I never saw the appeal. What was so fun about walking, sometimes for hours, through harsh wilderness, often in bad weather?
