CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR
Isaac thrust his claw at my face. At the same time, however, a surge of Mana went through my body and I summoned a small energy shield in front of my face at the last second.
Isaac’s claw slammed hard into the shield but was unable to break through it. A shocked look appeared on Isaac’s face when he saw the barrier, but I didn’t even hesitate. I slammed my energy sword directly into Isaac’s heart, piercing his chest and driving my blade all the way out of his back.
The shocked look on Isaac’s face was replaced by pain and anger. Blood leaked out of his wound as I dug my sword deeper and deeper into his chest, all the way up to the hilt. His blood bled onto my hands, but I didn’t care. I just forced the sword in deeper and deeper.
