NADIA’S POV He says it again, and for a second I just stare at him, because oh God, not this again. My chest tightens instantly, sharper this time, like my body already knows what’s coming before my mind fully catches up, and I let out a slow breath that does absolutely nothing to steady me. He’s still stuck on it, still on that same question.
