Beyond Alpha's Mate Bond

Chapter 1

Eva's POV

I froze in my place after listening the words of Alpha David. I can’t believe him. How can he..

“Are you listening to me” I came out of my shocked state listening to his words.

“What do you want me to do, Alpha” I asked him not believing my ears.

“I want you to marry future Alpha of Sunshine pack” he repeated his words which means I heard him right. But why?

“Eva” he called my name.

“Yes Alpha, but why me. Isn’t Shanaya was supposed to get married to him” I asked him.

“She found her mate so I can’t force her to marry him” he replied simply.

“But why me, there are so many women in the pack” I asked him not understanding what he is thinking.

“ Are you disobeying my order” he raised his brow and asked me sternly.

“No Alpha, I won’t dare to disobey your order” I said immediately bowing my head. “ I just want to know why you are telling me, an Omega slave to marry Alpha, will he agree?” I added. My questions are valid, why would an Alpha marry an Omega slave.

“ I have already talked to them and they agreed. They just need someone who will marry Alpha Dylan. Moreover we need this alliance for our pack.

"if Shanaya wouldn’t have found her mate I would have gotten her married but now I can’t force her. Your mate has already rejected you so this should not be a problem for you. It is time for you to pay back for the things this pack has done for you all this years. I hope you haven’t forgotten that if it were not for our pack you would have been dead by now” he said coldly.

Of course how can I forget this fact when almost everyone remind me about my existence as roughs daughter, what they did for me and how I am nothing without this pack.

“do you have anything else to say” he asked me. “ no Alpha I will obey your command” I said defeatedly.

“The wedding will take place as planned after four days. You can leave now” he ordered. I bowed in front of him and left. As soon as I left his office tears started flowing down from my eyes. I wiped them and made my way to my room in servant’s quarter.

I am Eva Markus. As you might have already figured out I am an Omega slave. My parents were rogues and were killed brutally by other wolves when I was four.

Luna of Moonlight pack found me crying in the forest and brought me here in her pack. Ever since then I am part of this Moonlight pack. I don’t know anything about my parents. I just remember few moments I had shared with them.

This pack has provided me with everything I needed. I went to school and finished my studies till high school. After that I stopped going to school and spend my entire time working in the pack house.

I am 21 years old now. I found my mate four months ago but he rejected me. Well he didn’t want a mate of lower rank. It was very painful at first but with time I got better. I think he might have found a chosen mate.

For werewolves rank matters a lot. And this is the main reason I am afraid to get married to future Alpha Dylan. But I don’t have a choice.

Our pack is getting attacked by roughs continuously for past few months. Till now thirteen wolves were found dead and four got severely injured while fighting against roughs. That is another reason even my pack members hate me because I am rough's daughter. That is why they treat me badly than other omegas.

Our pack need alliance with a strong pack and sunshine pack happen to be the best option as it is the strongest pack after royals. But they placed one condition. They will give us protection but they wanted Alpha’s daughter, Shanaya's hand in marriage for future Alpha Dylan.

Alpha David agreed as they are in need but yesterday Shanaya found her mate. He is the Alpha of Sea wood pack. So there is no way she will reject him for someone else.

But they needed someone to marry Alpha Dylan as well for alliance. So I have to sacrifice myself for the pack because they are the reason I am still alive.

I don’t know what am I supposed to do. I can’t refuse this marriage as it is Alpha's order and disobeying him will put me in a lot of trouble. I don’t even want to imagine.

“You are here, what did Alpha say” Aunt samara asked me as soon as I reached my room. She is the one who raised me from my childhood. She is like a mother figure in my life.

I smiled at her and told her everything. She was shocked as well after hearing my words. “but will an Alpha agree to marry an Omega? For them rank matters a lot” she asked me.

Of course who would know this better than me. My mate who is Alpha prince rejected me for this very reason.

“I asked the same thing, Alpha David said they agreed, they just need one bride. I just have to do as per their order as I don’t have any say in this matter” I said.

She patted my head lovingly as she always does. “don’t worry, leave everything on moon goddess” she said.

I nodded my head. “ I am tired I want to sleep” I said. “ okay go to sleep” she said and kissed my forehead before leaving the room.

I sighed looking at the ceiling. Anna my roommate and best friend is also not here. She went to meet her family, who lives in the village.

“everything will be fine” I said to myself and closed my eyes. His face flashed in front of my eyes. The love of my life. I don’t remember his name or anything but the moments I shared with him.

When I was thirteen years old I went to Alpha's training school where only Alpha's children were trained. I was sent to drop some of Shanaya’s things there. On my way to pack house I bumped with a girl and ruined her expensive cloths. Therefore her friends circled me and started bullying me.

They were all rich I could tell. And they were stronger than me. For my small mistake they pushed me in the river to ruin my clothes as well. I didn’t know how to swim and I thought that I will die.

At that moment a boy saved me. He was older than me. He saved my life and even scolded the kids. He was strong and confident.

Moreover he was very good looking. He carried me in his arms to the clinic near the river. He was nice and kind hearted to help a stranger. It made my heart flutter for him.

I visited that school two three times just to have a glance of him. I looked at him from afar and started developing feelings for him. After some days he left the school as he was done with the training and I stopped visiting that place.

The time I used to stare at his handsome face from afar I felt happiness in my heart. I enjoyed those small moments.

I smiled at the memories and soon I fell into deep slumber.

I looked myself in mirror one last time before leaving. I am wearing blue dress which Shanaya has given me for today. I tied my hairs in a bun. I am wearing slight make up as Alpha ordered me to dress up nicely.

In the morning Alpha Dylan called Alpha David and requested to meet me. Alpha David agreed and now I have to go to meet him. I sighed looking myself. I am looking nice but I am nervous to meet him.

I left the pack house as I don’t want to be late. There are so many things running in my mind.

I reached the restaurant where I am supposed to meet Alpha Dylan. I am sitting in the private room he booked for us. My heart is beating fast as I am waiting for him. Saying I am nervous would be an understatement now.

The door of the room opened and he walked in. I was shocked to see a familiar face. It’s him my mind screamed remembering the person I fell for in my childhood.

As soon as I looked at him I couldn’t take my eyes off of him. He is handsome like some model and celebrity. My heart skipped a beat looking at him after so many years.

He is wearing white shirt and blue jeans. His brown hairs are messy as if he has run his hand from his hairs many times. His blue eyes are so beautiful that you would want to get drawn in them. No doubt he looks like a Greek god.

But his beautiful eyes held anger in them. I feel that this anger is directed towards me. He sat in front of me and asked “are you done staring”.

I came to my senses and realized that I have been staring at him for a long time. I lowered my eyes in embarrassment. How can I act like this I scolded myself.

A waiter came to take our order. We gave our order. After some time waiter brought our drinks and left. All this time he is looking at me with his angry eyes. His stare is making me uneasy. ‘why isn’t he saying anything' I thought.

“No matter how much I look at you, I don’t get why my parents wants me to marry you, there is nothing special about you” he said making me look at him.

I don’t know how to respond to this so I kept quiet. “look I don’t want to marry you, so you will refuse for this wedding” he said without any emotion.

“I can’t, if you don’t want to marry me then you should say no” I replied politely. But he didn’t like is because he fisted his hand in anger.

“I can’t do that. If I say no then my father will handover this Alpha position to someone else for which I have worked hard for so many years. But for you there is nothing to loose. I will give you as much as money want, so you will say no” he said.

I can’t believe this. What does he think of me to offer me money. I felt anger building inside me at his rude behavior but what can I expect from an Alpha.

“I also can not say no. I have been ordered by Alpha, and as you must be aware that I cannot go against an Alpha's order. If that is what you wanted to say then I will take my leave as I can’t do anything as well” I said and got up. I bowed in front of him and turned to leave when he suddenly pinned me to the wall.

He is too fast. He is standing too close for my liking. His breath is fanning my face. My heart is beating fast due to this proximity.

Controlling my beating heart I tried to push him away but he held my hand above my head. He is staring at me with his blazing eyes. I cannot hold his stare so I looked down.

“Look at me” he commanded. I gathered all my courage and lifted my eyelids to look at him.

“So you are saying after marriage you will obey my each order as I will be your Alpha” he asked me in a mocking tone.

“I didn’t mean that” I said instantly.

“ you didn’t, then you will go to your Alpha and say no to this marriage. Because if you marry me, trust me I will make you regret it everyday” he said holding my chin tightly. He moved away from me and turned to leave.

He was about to leave the room when he turned around and said “I have a mate and even if we get married I will not leave her, ever. And I will never take you as my wife”. After saying this heart wrenching words he left me alone.

I slid down on the floor and a tear left from my eyes. What will happen to me after this marriage as I know very well I can not escape from this marriage.

But the thing that is bothering me most is

'why his parents are forcing him to marry someone when he has already found his fated mate?’
