Beyond Alpha's Mate Bond

Chapter 3

Eva’s POV

“I won’t mark her nor I will let her mark me” he said. I flinched at his harsh tone. His voice is filled with hatred for me. Once again tears filled in my eyes. I didn’t look up and kept my head down.

I felt his gaze on me. I don’t want to see hatred in his eyes for me. I can’t bear those blue orbs which made me fell for him instantly looking at me with hate. I loved him and had dreams about him all my childhood. Now I am married to him but I am not happy at all.

I didn’t want to meet him again like this in such situation where I will be forced into his life.

But I think it’s a good thing that he won’t mark me. Once two wolves mark each other their bond gets stronger. If we mark each other I will get more hurt by his hateful words.

Even now I feel my heart getting broken just with few mean words he says to me. I won’t be able to bear the pain if our bond gets stronger.

I came out of my thoughts with Luna Sarah's voice “Son she is your wife and Luna of this pack, she is not from our pack so anyone who is not present here can mistake her as rough and harm her, at least mark her for her safety”

It is true. If a new wolf is caught in a territory they are considered as roughs and become the target of beating until their Alpha orders them to kill the rough. I am sure he would not care about me. In fact he would love it if someone will misunderstand that I am rough so that he can get rid of me.

For few seconds he didn’t say anything and I thought my guess was right and he would not mark me but his next words surprised me.

“okay but only I will mark her, this woman will not mark me” he said. I don’t know whether I should be happy that at least he cares for my safety and will mark me or upset that I won’t mark him.

I don’t want to be marked by him but I don’t have any option. He took a step in my direction. My heart started beating fast. He leaned closer to my neck and my breath hitched.

I can feel his warm breath on my neck. I clutched the side of my dress in fist. His one hand snaked on my waist and pulled me closer to him. And his other hand held me at the back of my neck.

His soft lips touched the spot where he will mark me. I closed my eyes. He dig his canines in my skin. I felt immense pain and he dig deeper in my skin. Then all the pain went away when he licked the wound to seal his mark. I felt tingles all over my body and butterflies started dancing in my stomach.

“you chose to come in my life but you won’t be able to leave me unless I allow you to. I will make you suffer until you beg me to let you go but I won’t, you will suffer by my side for the rest of your life” he whispered in my ears slowly but dangerously.

His each word sent cold shivers run down my spine. A tear left from my eyes and he wiped them harshly. “Smile my wife, because from tomorrow onwards you will just cry” he said and moved away from me.

Luna and Alpha Justin came to us.“ I now present new Alpha and Luna of this pack” Alpha Justin announced. Everyone started cheering again in happiness. Luna came and held my hand and said to me “please take care of this pack and my son”.

“ I will” I replied with a small smile. Soon everyone started celebrating. Alpha Dylan left the party in the middle. I felt bad. It’s our wedding function and he left me alone.

I always wanted to get married to my mate but when he rejected me I thought I will marry someone I love. Never in my thoughts I assume that I will be married to someone who hates me to his core.

“You must be tired dear, let’s get you to your room” Luna Sarah said softly. I nodded my head as this place feels suffocating to me.

We got into a car. “ Dylan does not live with us in pack house, he has his own mansion at ten minutes distance from the pack house” she informed me.

“Eva don’t mind Dylan’s behavior. He is just angry right now. He is very nice person. Once his anger calms down he will treat you right and make you happy” she said with a small smile but her eyes held sadness in them.

I nodded my head and gave her one of my smile. I know it will never happen but I don’t want to hurt her by my words.

We reached a big beautiful house. It’s a very beautiful house. “I will give you a tour of your new home” she said and started walking.

After the tour of the house I felt very tired. Luna Sarah left after bringing me to his room which is mine as well. My luggage is already here. I laid down on the bed and closed my eyes for few minutes. But I didn’t know I was so tired that I fell asleep instantly in my wedding gown.

I sat up with a jerk when I felt cold water on my face. I wiped my face with my hand and came face to face with furious Alpha Dylan.

“Get off of my bed” he said coldly and I got down from the bed instantly. His eyes were focused on me observing my each move.

He took a step in my direction and I stepped back. He smirked at my reaction.

“how can you sleep on your wedding night” he asked and while taking another step in my direction. My eyes widened at his question and I took two three steps back, my back touched the wall.

He placed his both hands on wall either side of my head caging me. I am sure he can hear my heart beat.

“ Why, are you scared wifey” he asked me tracing his fingers on my neck sensually where he marked me. I felt tingles wherever he touched me.

“Please don’t” I whispered. “why, isn’t it what you wanted. Isn’t it why you married me even though I told you to say no, so that you can enjoy the luxury and power of being a Luna and wife of billionaire.” he said and held my jaw tightly.

I looked at him in disbelief. Does he really think I married him for money and status. How low he thinks of me. I felt anger building inside me because of his words.

“I don’t want anything from you, I married you because Alpha David ordered me to” I said. His eyes darkened upon listening to my words. His hold on my jaw tighten.

“Again that same excuse, so you are saying you don’t want my money, right? and you couldn’t disobey your Alpha that is why you married me” he asked me in icy tone which gives me shivers. I nodded my head.

He smirked. “So prove it to me” he said and sat down on bed.

“Why should I, you can think whatever you want” I said. Looking at his smirk I can tell whatever is going on in his mind is not good for me.

“so that you can live peacefully here. Otherwise do you remember my words about making you regret your decision everyday” he asked. Of course I remember. How can I forget those painful words he said to me on our first meeting.

“if I prove it to you, you will not bother me?” I asked him. If he will stop hurting me by proving it then why not give it a try.

“Of course, I won’t but that doesn’t mean I will accept you as my wife and Luna” he said. It’s still better than getting hurt by him everyday.

I nodded my head and asked “how”.

“since I am your new Alpha you will always obey me and you will not use my money” h said. “okay” I said hesitantly. It is not a problem for me to obey him. I have live my entire life following orders. But something is telling me it’s not going to be easy.

I feel like he will ask me to do such things which will be difficult for me to obey. And my suspicion got confirm looking at his expression. He smirked evilly.

“you agreed yourself, so here is your first order wifey” he said. ‘Wifey' my heart skipped a beat at this word. I am waiting for him to continue. The moment he commented his first order, my knees started wobbling and I felt my heart will come out of my chest.

His one word was enough to cause my body shake and tremble in fear.

“STRIP”
