Chapter There 3 The Hidden talents of Mrs Clarkson

Emma busies herself in the kitchen while Aunt Daniela and David where in the living room.

"She's a sensible girl where did you find her?" she asked.

"It's a long story, we met when we were little " said David.

"So she's your dream woman" said Aunt Daniela.

"Yes" he said with no emotion.

Soon the aroma from the kitchen has surrounded the house.

"Now I get a main point on why she's chubby"David thought to himself. The aroma of the food was mouth watering.

Dinner was served after a while the table was decorated with mouth watering dishes, David looked at Emma who's cheeks were red his expression was like

"Did you make this?" and her's was like

"I did" David tastes the roast beef his eyes shimmers.

"This is the best roast beef I've ever tasted bless your hands, I'm impressed" said Aunt Daniela.

"Thank you Auntie"Emma replies.

"If you want I can make some pork chops for you and bring it with me as well come for dinner" she adds.

"I would love that you're so sweet honey"said Aunt Daniela with a smile.

Emma nods and looks at David who was looking at her too.

"By the way how did you two meet?" Aunt Daniela asked.

David looks at his Auntie, "I told you-

"I asked my daughter in law not you give the lady some freedom" Aunt Daniela cuts him off. David pokes Emma's waist, "Um it's a really long story we met a long time ago when we were younger, those eyes are what made me remember his face well he saved my life and that's how it all started" said Emma.

"It's a good love story I'll have to go now" said Aunt Daniela standing up.

David kept staring at Emma "Who really is this woman?" He asked himself trying to study her.

"Have a safe trip home Auntie" said Emma waving goodbye to her. Immediately Aunt Daniela leaves Emma stands up and David suddenly grabs her hand.

"Mr Clarkson do you need anything, was my acting skills too poor I can improve next time, I...I...wa..was just a bit nervous" she said.

"Too poor it was perfect " he said to himself.

"How did you come up with the same exact thing I said to her before?" He asked. Emma looked into his eyes and there was a bit of emotion in them.

" Um I just thought of it, it was a last minute plan "said Emma. The emotions in his eyes faded away and he let's go.

"I'm a bit surprised your cooking skills are impeccable" he said.

"Thanks well I used to prepare dishes like this for Liam but he never seemed to like them I'll be going to my room now"said Emma.

"You did a great job convincing my Auntie have a good night "he said gesturing for her to go away.

"Okay Mr Clarkson "she said leaving.

David watches her leave and he lips form a faint arc, then he remembers her words about Liam. "Son of a b*****" he said grinding her teeth, as his grip on the table tightened.

Emma goes to room and closes her eyes and then she remembers what happened downstairs. "Mr Clarkson is such a good actor, he can make a woman fall for him" she said looking at herself in the mirror and then she measures her waist.

"I've done a good job so far at least I'm not so huge like before just a little more and I'll find myself back"she said turning around looking at the extra layers of fat on her waist and poking it.

Emma opens the drawer and opens a note book there was a music piece written inside. ( Yeah she was a musician)

The name was Heartbroken tears by the spring she takes a pen and continues writing.

"It's been a month and she just disappears so you think she's dead?" Lisa asked.

"I don't know " said Liam placing his hand on her shoulders.

"Liam I remember her meeting with a man recently she must have ran away with him" said Lisa.

"So there was someone else and she dared to act like the victim " said Liam.

Lisa's eyes were pitiful again and she hugs him.

"I'm sorry she told me not to tell you, and I didn't want to ruin things for you yet" said Lisa.

"Why are you still thinking about her, I don't care about that let's think about a good life without that pig and look towards our future with our daughter " he said placing his hand on her belly.

"I love you Liam and I'm here for you" she said wrapping her arms around his neck and they share a kiss.

Emma was working out in her room when Aunt Grace knocks on the door.

"Mrs Clarkson, Master Clarkson got you this dress it's for tonight's dinner with Mrs Daniela" she said holding a box.

"Okay just leave it on the bed thanks I'll try it on later" she replies.

"I'll leave you to work out then" said Aunt Grace leaving and closing the door.

Emma looks at the violin in the corner and decides to finish her piece.

She had worked so hard preparing snacks for Aunt Daniela that time passed by in the blink of an eye she looks at the clock, Half past Five.

"Oh no I'm going to be late"she said dashing into the bathroom.

"Hoo this is it" she said looking at herself in the mirror it was a purple dress that had a turtle neck, and golden designs on the skirt.

Aunt Grace comes into the room

"Mrs Clarkson your beauty can't hide, it looks good on you" said Aunt Grace.

Emma nods "Thank you" she said.

"Master Clarkson is waiting for you downstairs" she said.

"I'll be down in a sec" said Emma putting on some perfume and she puts on her coat and goes downstairs. David was in the living room looking at his watch and he looks up, "What's happening to her is it me or does she get beautiful by the day" he thought to himself.

"I'm ready thank you for the dress" she said holding a small gift bag in her hand. David looks at her "What's in there?" He asked his gaze falling in the little bag.

"I promised that I'll bring some snacks for Auntie it would be rude to forget"she said with innocent eyes. David gives her a side glance. "Just get into the car for God sake Emma" he said with an annoyed look.

Aunt Daniela's house was outstanding and elegant Emma's eyes widened.

"It's a beautiful house with vast land I like this kind of place " she said.

"Let's go in" said David placing his hand on her waist and leading her inside.

"Can you not hold me there I get a shockwave anytime you hold me there " she said.

David frowns and the holds her hand, his warm rough hand on her soft fleshy hand.

It felt ticklish. Emma looks at the paintings in the wall and clicked her tongue. Aunt Daniela really has good taste,

"It's my favorite daughter in law " came Aunt Daniela's voice.

"Hello Auntie " said Emma with a bright smile and then she gives her the snacks.

"I brought you some homemade snacks I made earlier" said Emma.

"Thank you let's go have dinner you came right on time" said Aunt Daniela says.

A maid takes David and Emma's coat and they follow Aunt Daniela to the dinning table.

During dinner Aunt Daniela kept talking about the past and how important David was to her.

"Emma why are you eating only the salad?" Aunt Daniela suddenly asked.

"Um I'm on a diet"said Emma with red cheeks.

"I like you this way"said Aunt Daniela.

"Um this isn't the real me I became like this because I had surgery when I was fourteen, I donated my kidney to my sister so I plan on loosing some weight"said Emma.

"Okay whatever you want"said Aunt Daniela. Emma nods, "I understand she wants to keep her man"she adds. The place becomes tense and Emma starts choking David pats her back immediately and gives her a glass of water to drink.

"Mom Emma gets shy easily don't tease her like that"said David.

"What is it bad to say the truth she wants to stay sexy for you so you wouldn't feel tired and dump her for someone else" said Aunt Daniela.

Emma's cheeks turn red David smiles and she steps on his foot.

"Watching a young couple is fun it reminds me of the old times"she said.

The torturing dinner was done and they were all drinking tea in the courtyard when Emma sees a piano, "Are you lover of music Auntie?" Emma asked.

"Yes it belonged to my sister she loved to play music I wonder why her son didn't take after her"said Aunt Daniela with a sneer. David frowns "Um can I play a piece?" Emma asked.

"Sure go on" said Aunt Daniela, Emma stands up and then sits down she closes her eyes and relaxes herself with a sigh she played with the keys. David who was with his tablet stopped as he heard the melody flowing from the piano, Aunt Daniela's mouth was wide open as she places her hand on her chest.

David stopped and then looks at the busy figure playing elegantly something flashed past his eyes.
