DAY 18 HOW I RAN INTO MY FRIENDS AGAIN An intense cold snuck into my bone marrow and made me shudder. I got up and left the hut with my blanket thrown over my shoulders. A thick fog covered everything. Every breath came with a jet of steam coming out of my mouth. Although the scenery was the same, time seemed completely different, an icy wind whipped my face and forced me to close my eyes. The air was so cold that I felt an intense pain when it entered my nose and mouth. I looked at the sky. The clouds moved at an incredible speed forming spirals over and over again. I was surprised to see absolutely no one, anywhere, it looked like they had evaporated and a breath of air took them far away. The town had a ghostly appearance.
