The storm cloud portal opened in an alley. “Oh, I’ve spent lots of times in places just like this,” Renee said as she stepped out. “What, why? I mean, never mind, I don’t want to know what you got up to in alleyways like this,” Judy replied, stepping out of the portal. Renee shook her head. “Mostly, I just slept,” she replied. “Mostly?” Jessica asked. Renee shrugged. “Yes, mostly. Anyway, where is this place you liked so much?” Renee asked. “Just around the corner, follow me,” Jessica replied and walked ahead of them both. Sure enough, just like she said, there was a place there. An old, tattered sign hung above the door, swaying in the breeze. Bob’s Place, it said in old black letters. “This is it?” Renee asked. “It is.” Jessica walked right up to the door, opened it and walked inside
