Up in the VIP area, sat in the center booth, a whiskey in hand that was gently swirled as the man closed his eyes, trying to ignore the prattling of the irritating woman to his left. Jaxon Stephenson sat contemplating whether listening to his friend and accompanying him to the club was actually worth the impending headache he was beginning to feel, or whether he should have just turned up to his family's event and made some excuse to leave early. Now he was stuck there, watching his best friend, Jonathon Dunken, trying to impress one of the many identical-looking ladies that they encountered on a daily route. Overly made-up, scantly dressed, teetering on heels that made it seem a gentle breeze would be enough to send them tumbling. Void of any depth and clearly looking for an easy pay day. Jaxon had become numb to these types of people, vying for his affection, attention and most importantly, his money. So he simply ignored the woman who was clearly more interested in vainly flirting with him than showing his friend any kind of attention. Meanwhile, on the second floor, the girls had finished their cocktail from Jack and had since gone on to order two more with a couple of shots thrown in for good measure. Now feeling a pleasant buzz from the alcohol they had consumed before leaving, now mixed with the drinks they had drank whilst discussing everything of the earlier situation, to Amelies future plans and dealing with her ex, Summer decisively stood up and exited their booth. "Ames, come on, let's go dance and show that loser what he's missed out on." Amelie couldn't help but laugh at her friend's actions and grasped the outreached hand held next to her. "Okay, let's go remind this place of just who we are and let them all know we're back." With that, Amelie winked at her friend and then both sauntered back down to the first floor and made their way into the middle of the dance floor. As the music kept playing, the girls soon found their rhythm, dancing together in the middle of the crowd, bodies moving seamlessly to the beat, losing themselves in the moment. As they continued, the surrounding crown began to come back, the two gaining the attention of everyone on the floor as their movements radiated s****l tension and had more than one man drooling. Looking up from the bar, Jack noticed the atmosphere that had taken over the floor and gave a sly smirk. He walked his way over toward the Dj and handed him a note. The man in the booth nodded his understanding and went back to his decks, casting his own longing glances at the girls now holding everyone's attention. The scene on the first floor now catching the attention of those on the higher as they all eagerly watched the girls below. Jaxon's attention was also naturally drawn to the scene, as the woman beside him noticed and huffed her displeasure, slumping back in the booth as Jonathon continued his attempt to gain her attention, oblivious to the fact that she was entirely disinterested in amusing him, since the one she'd been aiming for was ignoring her. The owner of the club, who'd been sitting at the bar in the VIP section, noticed everyone's gaze and naturally became curious as he walked towards the balcony to see what had caught everyone's attention. Eyeing the lower floors, his eyes winded upon seeing the two that had garnered such a scene and a wide smile spread against his lips. "Haha looks like Club Vortex's princesses have finally returned. I should have known from the commotion." With that, he waved over one of the security team members and directed him to escort the girls directly to the VIP bar once they were done on the floor, and then he told the wait staff to arrange for the girls' regular booth to be ready for their arrival. As the song was winding down, the DJ started hyping up the crowd, happily announcing the return of Summer and Amelie like they were some kind of royalty. The pair laughed and waved at the other patrons as everyone applauded them. As they were exiting the floor, the security team member approached them with a smile, "Mr Denton has asked me to escort you both to the VIP area, please follow me." Looking at each other, the girls couldn't help but laugh. They'd wanted to make a proper appearance, but they weren't expecting such a grand reception. Entering the VIP area, Patrick Duncan, the owner of Club Vortex, strode happily towards the girls, arms outreached to hug them both and welcome them back. "Welcome home girls, you certainly know how to make a comeback!" "We just came out to have some fun Pat. We didn't think we'd get so much attention haha." Amelie just smiled as she casually looked around the VIP area, noticing multiple gazes fixed on the pair. One set in particular caught her attention. A pair of the deepest blue eyes she'd ever seen. Summer noticed her friend had become distracted and followed her line of sight, noticing the heart throb and had locked eyes on her friend, as they stared at each other from across the room. Gently nudging Amelie with her elbow to gain her attention back, Amelie blushed as she looked at her friend, who simply replied by wiggling her eyebrows and nodding her chin towards the man she had just been oggling. "He's freaking hot!" she whispered. Amelie, still slightly flushed, glanced back towards the mysteriously attractive man whom was still watching her and replied with a smile, "Yes, he really is." Patrick, blissfully unwary that two of his patrons had basically been undressing each other with their eyes, led the girls towards their reserved booth, which just so happened to be next to the booth of the man with the deep blue eyes. The woman that had been sitting next to him, now realizing she had lost the attention of both of the men she was with upon the entry of the two girls, stood up in a silent rage and stormed out of the booth towards the bar, looking for her next target of the night. Patrick spared no expense in showering the girls with drinks and complements, clearly showing just how elated he was that the two of them had returned to the club. Their presence in the past had always brought him a surge in business as the stories of these two beauties had spread around the city and many single men had wanted to try their luck. As they continued to catch up, none noticed the man sitting in the booth next to them subtly listening to their conversation as his friend was bleating in his ear, pining for one of the girls' attention. His eyes occasionally wandering to gaze at the face of the woman that had left him utterly speechless.
