“Who are you?.”
“I will ask the questions Isabella.” He spoke his tone filled with a rather thick Italian accent, his blue eyes on mine as he closed the door from behind. “If I were you, I would not even think about running.” He threatened and I nodded.
“My uncle will soon be home I- do not speak unless I ask you to.” The man said cutting me off, he didn’t yell, his tone was calm and his eyes were now on mine.
I felt a shiver run down my spine as I stared at him, he wore a black suit, and his hair wavy and thick, when I noticed a tattoo going down from his neck, I saw a bit of it on his hand and I looked down when I heard a noise.
This man didn’t speak again, all he did was stare at me and observe me.
“You didn’t run when you heard the knock, you didn’t run when you saw the door knob twisting, anyone could have ran, maybe into their room, try to call for the cops and when they think they can’t get do the cops, they escape through their balcony.” He stated.
He reached toward me, making sure to leave a good distance between us and I didn’t move, my eyes still filled with tears as I stared at him.
“Speak.” The man whispered.
“I- please just let me go sir.” I breathed out, my mind filled with fear as I stared at him, the thought of what he could do to me filled my mind.
“Not sir, Daniel.” He stated
“Begging will not take you anywhere with me, I have not shown any weapon yet you don’t yell for help, so your neighbors can hear you and maybe think of coming to find out what is happening, I am not even close to you, yet you don’t stand up and head for the hills, you are not trying to escape Isabella.”
“How do you know my name?.” I whispered.
“Answer me.” Daniel slightly yelled and my eyes peered up to look at him.
“I can’t.” I whispered, what he wanted to know? What he needed to know, I can’t tell him about it, I wish I could. “Just let me go, I would not tell anyone you came here, you can steal anything you want, I doubt you would find anything good here.” I begged and he smirked at me.
“What did you do yesterday by this house?.” Daniel asked, I stared at him the whole time, it was a little after two, the same time I was walking and that man.
“I was working.” I whispered.
“Don’t play dumb with me, what did you do?.” Daniel asked again and I stared at him.
Who is this stranger? Why is he here? What did he have to do with it?.
The questions that filled my mind was a lot and it scared me, I stared at him again, unable to figure out what to say.
“Speak.” Daniel yelled, startling me and I looked away yet again. “You killed a man last night Isabella, you left him to die yet you stay in your home when someone intruded, you didn’t even think to defend yourself except for that useless vase you are holding, the girl that killed that man yesterday, you are not her.”
“What?.” I whispered.
“Get up an run, try to save yourself.” He yelled at me, what is wrong with him, I didn’t want to play his game, even if I ran, I won’t make it past my room, even if I did get into my room, I won’t make it past my balcony, I won’t be able to escape because I locked the door to the balcony months ago and I have no idea where the key is.
“I don’t want to, I told you, my uncle will soon be home, you can take anything you want and leave before he comes home.”
“Did he also come home last night? You seem to have created imaginary uncle for yourself, which I find a bit pathetic if you ask me.” Daniel whispered as I stared at him.
My eyes were on his for a second.
“What do you want?.” I asked, and he smiled.
“I won’t say it again.” Daniel repeated himself, this time a bit more dangerously and my feet found its place moving against the floor, the memory of the past came rushing back to me and my mind filled with fear.
My eyes filled with tears as I stared at him and I moved toward the hallway.
He was standing behind him, his perfume filled my nostrils as I didn’t dare to turn to look at him, my eyes staring at my bedroom door.
“Run Isabella.” Daniel yelled and I felt my feet moving against the floor as I ran, I was about to reach for my bedroom door when I felt someone touch me and I froze.
“You didn’t even make it to the bedroom.” He smiled.

All he wants to do is make me feel sad and make me feel pain, he didn’t even care that I am in pain, he wanted me to admit, after my failed attempt: he made me settled in the living room while he settled on the couch.
“This is a horrible wine.” Daniel stated as he gulped down another glass. “Not only do you have horrible taste in your wine, even your attempt to running away is pathetic.” He stated and I nodded.
I glanced at him again, the time was ticking, and I have no idea who this stranger is, Beth is not going to visit me today, she would call when it’s morning, and she would expect me to be at the party early, and the though of that only scared me.
“What are you thinking about? How you left a man to die, didn’t care if he had a family.”
“You saw it, didn’t you.” I asked again.
“I see everything Isabella.”
