Chapter 14

841 Words
Lexi's P.O.V. ~ "What are you doing here?" I did not care that I sounded rude right now, I wanted to know why he was standing on my door step late at night, alone, seemingly. He sighs. "I just came here to talk, seriously. Words are all I wanna exchange, not punches, kicks or any of the other moves you pulled during and well after practice today. Can I come in?" I move to the side, hoping Tommy has put the g*n away, we don't need people suspecting us, and in this, one person suspects you, everyone does. He walks in and continues walking so I close the door and fix my shirt so the g*n isn't visible to him. I find Tommy sitting again eating food.  "Lexi who was at- What are you doing here?" He again, sighs.  "Look I already told Alexandra that I just wanted to talk, alright? We have a few mutual problems that need solving, so, may I?" He asks, pointing to the couch. Oh, he wants to sit, too bad he can stand. I sit back in my original position and pick up my food to start eating again. "No, not until you tell us exactly why you are here, and now would be a good time because we have things to do." He stands there and clears his throat. "Ok, well um, first of all. I'm very sorry for the way I've been acting lately. It's just that you seem to be clashing a lot with Tiffany and you know, she's my girlfriend so I wanna take her side. Also, you aren't exactly the kindest person eith-" "Wow, you have the audacity to come into MY house and tell me indirectly that I'm a b***h, and secondly, your so called 'girlfriend' is seeing guys behind your back, and has been for almost your entire relationship. Also, have you met your girlfriend, she is a major b***h and I am the only one who has the guts to stand up to her. And, if I remember correctly, which I always do, you Mr. Maxwell O'Neil, used to harass me as well, and were never the nicest person. So, unless you have anything else to say, get the f**k out of my house." He doesn't move from his spot. Oh, looks like he figured out I remember him and his old ways.  "Um, that was the old me, and I know your lying about Tiffany, she would never cheat on me, we're in love, something you probably know nothing about with that heart of ice in your chest. And, I also came over here to tell you that the Mayor and his wife are planning on taking legal action against you, and thought I should give you fair warning so you could maybe lawyer up, but you probably would just skip town again. Good bye Alexandra, and I hope I never see you again, besides the obvious reasons." And with that, he left. I was fuming, how dare he say I know nothing about love. I had my heart broken, once, a long time ago, and I hate bringing it up. He dated me for my position and the agency and tried to r**e me because I wouldn't have s*x with him. He was an asshole, but still, I loved him.  "Tommy do you mind cleaning up? I'm going to go to bed now." He nods and I head up to my room. I jump under the covers and grab my special teddy bear that my parents got me, it was the last thing they got me actually. I always sleep with it near me. I put my face in it and the tears come, one by one, and they don't stop. I keep as quiet as I can but I guess I was still loud because Tommy comes into my room and cuddles me into his arms. I wrap mine around him and burry my face in his chest while I cry, silently, and he just rubs my back in a soothing manner. Eventually I fall to sleep, and I wake up the next morning feeling like s**t. Tommy isn't in bed with me so I go out to his room, he isn't there, and I make my way to the kitchen, and at the stove I see Tommy cooking my favourites, bacon, pancakes with honey and syrup drizzled over the top. I sit down at the counter and then does Tommy notice me. He smiles sadly while pushing the plate towards me and I start devouring it, this is why I don't like crying, it takes away so much energy.  "So, I think that we go to school, you dress like the bad b***h you are, and prove to everyone that we don't need people each other, ok? Sound like a plan?" Tommy asks, and I know why. He wants an excuse to pick out my outfit, sneaky bastard. "Sounds like a perfect plan." "YAY!" Then he runs up to my room while I keep on eating, oh God, this is going to be a long day.
