3 days ago i met my in laws and straighten things out including the wedding date which was in 4 months, why are my parents in a hurry to marry me off? But the only thing I could do is to pray that this turns out the right way. I'm usually the cautious type so it wouldn't hurt to think about it in a positive way.
I decided to go out with a friend of mine today and so I got ready and waited for her. She showed up 30 minutes after I was done.
"sorry did I keep you waiting?" Shahida had a guilty smile on her face
"no definitely not let's go." I assured her
We decided on going to silver bird to watch a movie. After the movie we had ice cream and pop corn, we were walking to the car when I bumped into a tall fair guy,he had a straight nose, small plump lips and huge erotic eyes. he was with another girl talking and laughing, he turned to look at me and I apologized,then walked away without saying a word.
"what a creepy guy." She rolled her eyes looking irritated
"tell me about it." I replied a bit caught off guard by his looks
Shahida drove me back home and I walked into my room and collapsed on my bed, i was tired AF. I prayed took a hot bath and drifted to sleep peacefully.

After i came back from seeing hadiza I felt depressed, seeing her cry was the worst, I expected her to slap me at least but she didn't, I felt guilty and sad.
After dinner I went back to my room and started working on my laptop, I'm not sure what to do next so I'm burying myself in work for now, I know I don't know the girl I'm gonna marry hell I've never seen her, but I don't like her either, thinking about it put me in a bad mood.

"mama seriously i don't want to meet him." I whine pitifully
"I wish it' was your choice but it's not, he's coming to see your after he gets off work tomorrow." Mama rub my back
"oh God, mama can you please postpone it? I feel nauseous and I think it's gonna last a week" I throw myself on here
"then I guess you better start taking meds so you would feel better." She interjected, I hate meds, I'd rather get injection than take meds.
"I'm good I think it's gone now am totally fine" she laughs at me shaking her head
The next day around 6:15pm I was watching the 1st episode of legend of the blue sea and it was really good especially because the actor is a good one.
i was at the most interesting part when my mom came in" suhaiba he's here come say hi" i felt my hand suddenly get sweaty but I managed to pull myself together. I went downstairs to the living room and there he sat scrolling through his phone.
He was wearing a black shirt with a denim jacket on top and blue jeans. He had full eyebrows and clean beard, I took a moment to take I his features before going in and interrupting him.
"Hello" I spoke softly
"Hey" he dropped his phone turning to look back at me
"good afternoon"
"afternoon how are you doing?" Sue aside with a smirk
"I'm doing good and you?" He hesitated before answering
"not bad so far, sorry for dressing informally I'm coming from work." I could tell he was uncomfortable
"no its okay i totally get it."
"so I've heard about you from my sisters when they came over few days ago."
"yes Amina, she's a handful" I laugh thinking back at it
"yeah everyone says that, it looks like you were busy?"
"not really, I was actually watching." I point back towards my room
"oh really? I'm a huge fan of watching too, what were you watching?"
"promise me you won't call me weird?" I ask hesitantly
"Yeah sure I promise" he tried to stifle his laughter
"it's a new Korean series titled legend of the blue sea."
"ah Korean, my sister watch those, there's this one I don't know if you know it em was it moon slayers or moon lovers I can't remember." He tried to recollect the name
"oh yeah moon lovers:scarlet heart." I correct him with a smile
"they went crazy over it and ended up crying cause it was really sad, at least that's what they said" she shrugged
"yeah the ending sucked, I couldn't binge on it cause it was so heartbreaking"
We talked for a while before he left, I don't know him and I've never seem him but it was comfortable talking to him, i guess it really isn't that bad. But for some reason he look so familiar

After work mom forced me to go see that girl, and begged me to make sure i didn't make the girl upset, i loved my mom so much cause i know it would upset her to know I treated the girl harshly so I'm gonna be a gentleman.
I arrived at her house by 6:45pm and I was welcomed by her mom, she took me into the living room and offered me cold lemonade, I sat there chatting on my phone, it was ya Zainab, she was telling me about the girl and how beautiful and calm she was,we were chatting when I heard a voice and I look up to see her, masallah
She was beautiful, she had huge eyes, straight nose and an undeniable charisma, her blue veil brought out the color of her eyes. We sat there and talked for a while before I left.
There was no Denying it, she is beautiful but the whole time I was with her i only thought of hadiza and how she was holding up, and that made me lose interest in the girl who was sitting in front of me trying so hard not to make things awkward.
