I have been walking for a week, I’ve been walking for this long so I can get as far away as I possibly can. It's easy for me to last quite a while without food, water, sleep, and all of the essential needs and still be as strong as I am without wounds and am healthy. I soon found a creek that I could drink from and take a small bath that would wash off some of the dried blood and hopefully clean the wounds from any infection. It possibly might also help me hide my sent. But a day later the sent the small creek had come off and my sent was still pretty easy to track. Later I came across a small camp of rouges, this can either be good for me or not. Because I am a rouge, they won’t feel threatened by me which could lead to problems. Hopefully, they will let me say for a short amount of time because right now I am not certain I could fight them all off. At the moment with my broken ribs, it was getting hard to breath. As quietly as I could I changed back, biting my lip to stop the small cry of pain from passing through. Cautiously I walked closer to their camp, finding a tree I could hide behind and look around the camp while holding the wound on my side. a male’s voice boomed out saying. “You can come out from hiding; we can smell you.” “Crap” I muttered under my breath so they wouldn’t hear. I found my mask that was tucked into my leather jacket and carefully placed it over my face. While I walked out my broken hand reached for my pocketknife when I flicked the blade out it shines with light from the fire they had burning. My head was throbbing with pain and making my grip on the knife loosen making me unsure of how long my hand could last holding it. “Well look what we have here boys, looks like she ran into the wrong kind of people,” One of the men said, he seemed like the eldest and he said it smugly. “Should we help her or contribute to the wounds?” A blond boy said. I growled out at them to shut them up. “Hah, she’s a feisty one, why no she might come in handy,” The oldest said with a small chuckle and a smirk plastered on his face. I took a deep breath in and felt my ribs move then a click sound out from them, which I guessed isn’t good nor normal. As well as that I felt blood slip past my fingers as the wound that one had closed was now opened again and looked worse than it did before. The oldest of the group looked at the floor as my blood dripped down and spill to the floor with a small drop until it splashed onto the dirt and grass. I quickly put my knife away to lean against a tree as my legs slowly started to feel like they couldn’t hold my weight up. I looked down at my red-stained hand to see blood leaking out of my body like it wanted to escape. Collapsing to my knees I felt the cold earth on my legs as they rested on the ground. Still leaning on the tree, I moved my other had to my side to try and help stop the bleeding. My vision started to grow fuzzy, and my head was spinning as everything went blurry in an instant. A pair of arms caught me before I could fall any lower to the ground. Before I passed out, I saw some of the men stand up and look at me and heard the eldest call out stuff for them to do. 4 Days Later I woke up not wanting to move or open my eyes, but I knew I had too. Augh, why did I have to feel so sore. I stretched and rubbed my eyes to get the last remnants sleep out of them, but when I realised, I didn’t have my mask on I jolted up and hissed from the sudden action causing me pain. That’s when a hand softly pushed me back down onto the bed and the memories flooded back. I looked up at the male and then looked outside of the tent to see that it was dark, with stars shining. “You gave us all a fright when you collapsed and passed out in front of us, and then didn’t wake up the next day” He stated while moving the blanket down to show me that they patched me up. I saw that I was only in a bra with my pants still on but had bandages covering my body. “Where are my clothes” my voice was croaky and felt dry, I looked at him with a raised eyebrow and a questioning look. “Oh Uhm, yeah sorry about that, we needed to take them of so we could bandage your wounds and wash the blood out of your clothes,” he scratched the back of his neck out of embarrassment and not knowing what to do, “I'll go get them for you” he then proceeded with leaving the tent. Slowly sitting up I looked over my body and decided which bandages could be taken off and which ones can stay. Placing the unwanted bandages on the makeshift bed I moved so my feet landed softly on the ground. wrapping the blanket softly around myself I stood up and walked out of the tent to be greeted by voices quieting down and faces looking at me. “Well look who’s finally up” I looked at who said that, and he smiled softly and pointed to an empty seat. I walked over to the tree stump that was cut from a tree and multiple were placed around the fire. “How long was I out for,” I asked, so I might get an understanding of how far I’ve travelled to get a general idea if he has found my sent and is tracking me. “Four days” I nodded in response. The young male came back with my clothes in hand and my mask sitting peacefully on top of the small pile. He handed me my clothes and I thanked him, standing up I placed the blanket on the stump and put my shirt on and looked around to see them all looking different directions and one even whistling to a random tune. I rolled my eyes and put my jacket over the top and checked over my pockets making sure I still had everything, and I did. Wrapping the blanket around my legs I looked down at my mask as it stared up at me with its empty eyes. I wondered about my friend Ensley, I was thinking about if he had found her and locked her up somewhere to ask her questions that she wouldn’t know the answers too. I got snapped out of my thoughts as someone tapped on my shoulder. Looking up at them they then said. “We asked you a question, but it looks like you zoned out, the question was do you know who did this to you?” I looked at him and thought about the question before answering. “It was an alpha who attacked my school I do not know why he did” I paused to think if I should tell them the rest. I decided they should know, “I ran from him after taking out two of his guys, but he sent more of his pack members after me and I managed to fight them off and ran away before anymore came after me.” I stated to them. “Your lucky to escape from an alpha.” The oldest said. Yeah, pretty cool, but do you know which alpha it was.” The blond boy said. “They called him Quillon because he’s supposedly an assassin or once was, I am pretty sure he’s from the Blood Moon pack,” I said while remembering how he looked at me and thought he was better than me, what a fool. “Oh him, we all know who you're talking about,” Another man said ending his conversation with the person next to him. “I am going to guess he wasn’t the best person to you,” I said as I looked at them all and how they all had sad looks to them as they remembered something. “Yea he’s the reason we're all here” The youngest one looked up at me and it looked like he was going to let a few tears loose. I nodded understanding their situation. Silence surrounded us except for the soft crackle and pop of the fire burning. All of a sudden, a twig snapped, and all of our heads whipped to look at where the sound emitted from, blue eyes shone from the darkness of the trees. Everyone stood up and the eldest signalled for me to go, but I didn’t I moved out of his sight and watched. He moved closer to the fire until he was standing close to the eldest. He could easily push him into the fire, but he didn’t he waited for him to speak. “What are you doing here, you said you’d leave us be,” He said in a gruff tone not wanting him to know that he was hiding something. “Oh, but I have and now you have something that belongs to me, and I want it back” He had a slight smile on his face but wanted to see bloodshed so he could get his hands on me to claim as his, but I wasn’t going to let that happen. “We have nothing of yours, were not hiding anything from you,” He said but his voice losing its confidence from the alphas evil stare. “Are you sure about that because I can smell her scent here?” he said while a small growl emitted from his throat as he was getting annoyed. I put my mask on and silently walked into the darkness of the forest for cover.
