"Where have you been?"
Whoa!
I hadn't even turned on the light when a deep voice greeted me, sounding a bit grumpy. But it's only ten-thirty, not late at all, just the right time.
"You came back early today, Troy," I said, turning on the light and greeting him. Wow... So edgy. Today's look is a million out of ten. He's handsome beyond measure. Even though his face was serious, I didn't care at all because I was too busy being mesmerized by his otherworldly good looks.
"Where have you been?" Troy didn't pay any attention to my question or my sweet smile, instead asking the same question again and staring at me intently.
"I went shopping," I said, trying to stay calm, and showed him a medium-sized shopping bag.
"What did you buy?" Seeing Troy start to take an interest in what I bought
